Only Lasts One Year in the can... Or does it... Great Product!
I bought this 2 years ago to fix large holes in my Travertine floor on my patio (in Arizona). I was able to procrastinate for 2 years and finally I had to take some action. I looked at howm to videos on youtube and visited the manufacturers site where I learned this stuff is only good for a year in the can! When I opened it I could see why they say one year, the product separated just like a good oil based paint will. Wondering if I could bring it back to life I bent up a heavy metal coat-hanger into a stir stick and put into my drill and went to work. I also put on my 3M painting mask to keep the fumes from killing me and went to work outside. It took a bit to bring it back to life but this worked and the product worked great! You don't need much hardener and it sets pretty quick but fixed all big holes like a charm and it looks fantastic! I would highly recommend this product and also recommend to use it when you buy it...

It is a really potent odor that does last for awhile.
odor is very chemically strong make sure you use a well ventilated area or leave for a day or two after its use.

Performed beyond expectations!
First off, thanks to Amazon for stocking this product. I visited several local stone shops to find this product and they didn't even know what I was talking about! Now for the review... We have a stone mosaic table on our deck that was damaged during the past winter. Several pits and chips had occurred due to freeze/thaw cycles and the table was looking rough. By using this product I was able to fill all the chips to restore our table to like new. Tenax was easy to work with, but you do need to be prepared to work quickly. Once you mix the hardener with the resin, you literally have less than 5 minutes to work. The resin goes from a smooth, workable paste to a gummy consistency after a few minutes and then hardens after another 30 seconds. After hardening, I used a power sander to smooth off any high spots and then wrapped up with some wet sanding. The finished product was a buff color that blended well with the travertine of our table. I think tinting kits are available if you want to change the color.

Travertine Shower
Wanted the look of natural stone 16 years ago for the master bath shower. Had a nice travertine limestone installed. Looked great for about 19 years until the water from the shower started to wear away or dissolved a few deep pockets into a few tiles. Didn’t want to do new tile so found this product. It is a nice tan or beige base to start with that came close to my tiles. I had some colored grout and mixed a little in to match my tiles to perfection. The application was smooth but a little scary as it’s applied and looked a little rough. Some minor work with wet sandpaper and viola a perfect fix. You just have to trust the process and the product filled the divots smoothly. A top coating with a natural stone tile sealer, I used the wet look lacquer and the tiles shined like they did when they were new. I have to look closely to see where applied the Tenax. Definitely something that a do it yourself person can manage. I recommend this product and would use it again when required.

This stuff is great!
After researching the best way to fill small holes in my travertine floor, I decided to try this based on all the great reviews. I only had 2 small holes to fill, so I didn't want a huge bucket of filler. Was a little disappointed when the package arrived because the directions were inadequate. Plus, there was heavy duty tape sealing the lid to the can, and when you carefully pulled it off, it tore off some of the brief English instructions. No matter - I just started reading every single Amazon review to get some tips on how much filler to use vs. hardener and the best way to mix it up. I found 2 great tips -- mix up about a teaspoon of filler to a couple of drops of hardener. Another great tip -- use 3x5 cards to mix the batches. We used popsicle sticks as the stirrers and applicators. We actually used more like half a teaspoon of filler to 2 small dabs of hardener. We filled the holes and after drying, scraped off the excess. We literally cannot see where the holes were anymore -- so pleased!! The exposed part of our kitchen floor is only about 11x7', so granted, we have enough product for about 100 years. But for $18 plus shipping, it was well worth the price!!Update: 9/14/18 — we had a small area of our travertine that cracked for some odd reason and a big chunk of tile crumbled and came out. We thought we would try using this again (since we still had a big can of it left over). The area was underneath where the tile meets the cabinet/drawer (up against the baseboard) so not in a highly visible place. I attached a pic - it’s not perfect by any means, but the hole was very deep and irregular so it was hard to smooth it out quickly before it hardened. I’m happy!

Filler OK, but packaging sucked big time!
This was ordered for home use. I needed to fill some holes in my travertine floors and wanted a durable material that could be colored to match the floor. The product worked very well, although I will caution do-it-yourselfers that it hardens within 2 - 3 minutes, so mix it in very small batches. I used a kitchen scale to keep the proportions correct at first, but soon got a feel for the mix and did it without measuring. I also strongly recommend wearing disposable gloves and discarding them after every batch. My problem was that the packaging was horrid! The can of filler was dented, making it hard to get the lid on and off. But much worse was that the tube of colorant broke open and spilled over everything. Since it is permanent, I had to - very carefully - clean everything in the box. It could have been prevented with a little more packaging material and a ziplock bag for the colorant.

Work quickly with small batches
Seems great. I like how you can dye it a darker color if needed. Dries quickly so make sure you work in small tiny batches or you'll waste it
