Hobby Boss Leopard 2 A5/A6 Vehicle Model Building Kit (HY82402)

Another label from Trumpeter.The usual very high Trumpeter quality.Lots of details and true to scale thus delicate parts.Requires lots of patient and time to carry through and properly finish it.Previous experiences a must.Not recommended for newbie or beginner.But will make a fantastic model when finished correctly.Proof that Chinese products can be world class if there is no greedy American corporation is involved to knock the manufacturing cost to such razor slim margin that no quality control can be properly done.

The Model itself is not for beginners. The instruction sheet is helpful but not detailed. Therefore at some places, you have to guess and figure out yourself. In terms of material, the plastic is not as thick and solid as I would have imagined. It bents easily and very soft. Maybe some people would like that quality anyway. When glue the pieces, you may have to have some extra effort, as some pieces are very crude and may require additional trimming, otherwise, they won't stick together. Overall, the make of the model has a lot of room for improvement. I think Tamiya would make a better model.

This kit came in record time. I was surprised how fast. The packaging for shipping was very good. I am changing my original review because I started building this kit last night. Hobby Boss normally produces a god kit but this one is very disappointing. LOT of flash to be trimmed. A few parts are warped. Two in particular are broken. Small pieces but broken none the less. I think my biggest gripe is all of the human hair on this model. Hair all over the series in the sealed bag. Call me picky but that's nasty. Across the board IM not happy at all.
