This utensil is amazing it gets the grease right off the top of your soup and it cleans so easy just stick it in the dishwasher

I bought this for my girlfriend who frequently makes chicken soup and she is not really a fan. To be sure, the mop does what it claims to do, but it's far from clear that it is the most efficient way to remove the grease from a broth. Using the mop is very a slow and somewhat messy process. She's given up on using it on the entire stock pot, preferring to just let it cool overnight and removing the grease when it congeals, but continues to use it to some success on a bowl by bowl basis when we plan to eat the soup immediately. It does a good job at removing excess grease off a pizza, but a paper towel also does a serviceable job. My girlfriend has also expressed doubt as to our ability to adequately clean the mop after use. Ultimately, I think it's a helpful tool to have around in a pinch, but it is not a perfect solution.

Used them for years, very effective in removing fats from soups, boiled meats (((never use to remove fats from frying foods will melt the fibers))Ive gifted my family members and now need to refresh I do hope they come back on the market

very strange, couldnt use

This is a great kitchen tool for such things as making a pot of soup and skimming off the fat. However, I make homemade chicken bone broth and it doesn't work as well as I expected. This is because the chicken bone broth has a lot of fat and the tool requires washing in very hot water after each skim of the bone broth. All is all it will be good for regular everyday cooking of soups, stews, etc. to remove the fat.
