Perfect for my 12 year old pomeranian/chihuahua. Her teeth are small and she is older now but still likes crunch with her wet food. Definitely recommend this brand

MIRACLE FOOD!!! Our 16 year old Shih Tzu had lost a lot of weight and mobility in the last year. She also has an extremely sensitive stomach and virtually no reputable brand dog food agreed with her stomach. I’m fact, there were times i thought she was dying from some illness and prepared our little ones for Chloe’s pending departure. Vomiting, not eating for days on end, sleeping alone in a room all day, the whole 9 yards.In a last ditch effort, I decided to take a chance and switch her to this dog food. My wife had basically got sick and tired of cleaning up her accidents due to her food not agreeing with her.So After I read a review of another person on her that had 2 elderly shih tzu’s as well, describing the same symptoms as my dog, I told my wife we would try to give this food to her. If she didn’t eat it or puked it up, Chloe was going to be put down by the end of next week. Well, this food literally saved her life.It arrived 2 days ago. I immediately opened it and Chloe shot up off her bed (a miracle in itself) and eat food for the first time in 4-5 days. She literally refused to eat, survived on a few cheese slices a day is the only thing she would eat. She drank water fine, so that’s what clues me in to a last ditch Hail Mary food switch.Let me tell you all this, my 16 year old dog, on the verge of malnutrition and literally half dead, has been gobbling this food up like the last supper for the last 2 days. She’s pooping solid, no vomiting, and has seeming made a miraculous recovery.UPDATE: 4/7/21Well it was good while it lasted but we had to put our dog to sleep. Poor girlThis stuff is amazing!!

Seems to be very taste and easy to chew for my Sr. Chihuahua and dachshund. A bit pricey in this economy, though.

This is pricy but my JRT has been on SD since puppyhood. You can feed less because it is higher quality. A 15lb bag lasts almost 4 to 5 months for my 20 lb.girl. plus she loves it. I do feed her in a maze bowl to stop her from being a little gobbler..

Both of my fur babies take this food along with the same brand wet food . I noticed they have better digestion, and their wellness is much better. They’re seniors 13 years oldAnd I always receive compliments that they look way younger 🩷

My toothless 14+ year old yorkie eats this with a mixture of Just Food For Dogs wet food. I like it because the kibbles are the smallest on the market that I’ve seen and it is in a resealable bag that keeps it fresh. It is designed for senior small and mini breeds (my dog is 5lbs for reference. My dog has had pancreatitis and needs a low fat diet. He seems to like the taste and smell. Good value for money.
