Hunter Sprinkler MPCORNER MP Rotator, 8-Feet to 15-Feet Radius and Adjustable from 45-Degree to 105-Degree

This 45-105 sprinkler was exactly what I needed to cover the narrow dead spot that wasn't reachable by the other sprinkler. This sprinkler works perfectly and my lawn is happy.

The MP Rotators are the king of the hill when it comes to residential irrigation options. As much as I love my 2000 and 3000 series Rotators, this MP Corner was a disappointment. I've got one odd corner of my front lawn where there is no overlap from other sprinkler heads, and I needed a 25-foot radius head that could go down to a 45-degree arc. Unfortunately, this is a hole in Hunter's product line. So I settled for this head since it's the only one of Hunter's that goes down to 45-degrees. Unfortunately, the short radius didn't fit the bill, and even within its advertised max radius of 15 feet, it just didn't get the job done. 15 feet is a stretch for what this can actually cover. It's more like 10 feet with a slight overspray beyond that. And within that 10' radius, it really puts down a downright anemic amount of water. That entire corner of my lawn suffered pretty miserably this summer. Despite the slightly heavier application rate compared to my MP Rotators, I went with a Rainbird R-Van in this position and it actually does a great job. The heavier app rate of the R-Van is actually a bonus in my specific situation, since there isn't any overlap from other heads in my system in this area (they'd just water the street as much as the lawn). And apparently only Rainbird found it important to have a rotator-style head in their product line that has a long throw AND can be adjusted down to a 45-degree arc.
