Magical, Majestic, Multicolored Mechanical Pencils
These. Mechanical. Pencils. I had simply bought these as they were cheap, eco-friendly, and came with many (as the gnomes in my home like steal my art supplies), but never had I known the magic that lied in these majestic, multicolored mechanical instruments. Never before have I created such works of art, true masterpieces... It is not my hand that guides the pencil, but rather the pencil leading my hand on an inspirational journey... Needless to say, please, buy these magical pencils. They feel like soft, quality, recycled plastic, but somewhere inside them hums an artistic energy like nothing ever seen.

Great pencils
My son (now 6th grade) does best writing with mechanical pencils since he has handwriting on the sloppy side and presses moderately hard. He also needs as few distractions by getting up to sharpen his pencils as possible. These seem to hold up to pretty heavy use and pressure with minimal lead breakage. He has no trouble holding them, not being too slick as to slide. Being #2 pencils and safe for "bubble blank" tests, he only needs these. I love the cost per unit. I usually manage to fill with an additional lead or two so they last longer, too, although the leads inside are as long as permissible while still allowing the advancement of lead. I have re-purchased these several times.

Nice Pencils - Nice Price
The Bic Ecolutions series writes well and is an overall nice pencil for a nice price. The ecolution comes from BIC using 65% recycled plastic in the pencils.Bottom line: they write nice, have a nice price, and they last awhile.I suggest these pencils for school work (grade / high school, college, and above). They are nice to have around for a general writing instrument. They are a good buy.

Mechanical pencil of choice...
I started using these pencils a couple years ago, the only reason I'm buying more is because people kept stealing them. They are great pencils and got me through Japanese class quiet well. I like that they are eco-friendly and reusable. I haven't had issues with refillable led not working but I also bought BIC .7mm lead and eraser set. I use the erasers down to the point that I can still take them out to refill the lead then I just use a standard eraser -similar to the pink ones we use to buy in grade school. It's a small inconvenience that I'm willing to make to help cut down my resource footprint. My children love using them as well. I'm not a fan of the colors they have picked (actually I don't like the sage green at all) but that isn't something that will keep me from purchasing them again in the future.

Cheap, colorful and effective
I actually bought these pencils as an "add on" item for an order, though I DID know they'd come in useful. Unlike the usual BIC Mechanical pencils, they come in 4 different colors instead of just black with colored clips. They happen to be made of recycled plastic which is cool too. Though marketed as "disposable", all you need to do to put more lead in the pencil is take the eraser off the top and drop some leads in the hole, then stick the eraser back on, simple as that! In fact, I've got a pencil that I've been using since high school and that was over 14 years ago. (It's my "Van Halen" pencil. Long story, not going to bother telling it.)Anyway, good deal if you're looking for some cheap, but nice mechanical pencils. Great "add on" item.

These are exactly like the pencils I used when I was in middle ...
These are exactly like the pencils I used when I was in middle and high school, and college. Once I graduated and stopped needing to buy school supplies, though, I slowly and inadvertently returned to using traditional wooden pencils. Recently I decided on a whim to buy a package of these, for old time's sake, since pencils have been scarce in my apartment lately. My handwriting with a mechanical pencil is a little bit neater. There is no mess from sharpening, nor frustration if you misplace your sharpener and have to go on a long and drawn-out search to find it. 90% of the time you won't end up with ugly residue on the paper if you need to erase (as often happens with wooden pencils). If anything, these pencils are better than the ones I used in school, as they're over half composed of recycled plastic. And, still inexpensive enough that if I lose one, it's not a big deal. It's hard to go wrong with these.

10/10
the matte colorful hard plastic and strictly functional design make for a great writing instrument. my biggest complaint with other mechanical pencils are that they are bulky and break easily... these pencils avoid both of these downfalls. even though i loose pencils frequently, this pack has lasted over a year

Great mechanical pencil!
These pencils are destined to be used by children somewhere in the world where it will be part of a gift shoebox with school supplies and other goodies. Here in the U,S, we often take these simple things for granted, but in most areas of the world, it is a rare treasure. I like that these pencils last longer than the average mechanical pencil.
