I typically keep my hair cropped very close, alternating between completely bald and maybe 1/4 inch of hair. Most of my hair on my head and face are grey, with some streaks of dark brown. I bought the light brown version of this product, simply because I didn't want to over do it. I tried it two times, and it's almost totally gone. You might be able to get three complete uses out of this, but nothing more. The fist time I tried it, I left it in my hair about 12-15 minutes. I tried it again today and had to leave it my hair for about 30-minutes due to an issue I was working on my computer. There is absolutely no evidence at all that I've ever tried this product. My hair is as gray as ever, without even the slightest change. If you have a ton of gray hair, I'd recommend that you NOT try this product. It costs a fortune for just 2.5 uses, even if it did work. This was a complete waste of my money, and I'll just have to try something like Just For Men. In case you missed it, I don't recommend this product at all. It may work for people with less gray, but I'm not sure how it can cover any gray since it didn't change mine at all. I rarely ever rank anything below four or five stars, so be warned.

I've used several different brands of dyes with varying success and I was hopeful for the True Son. Easy to use is the best feature but terrible irritation was not worth the usability. Also read the fine print because there is no money-back guarantee with product and no Prime coverage.

Shade was perfect and relatively easy to apply. Second purchase because it worked so well with my first.

I've been using TS for a few months now (had a subscription, but prefer to buy as needed). I've got light colored hair and a fair amount of grey. After using store bought products for a number of years, I've been impressed by how long True Sons lasts - even under difficult (ie, going in a chlorine pool) conditions. The instructions are user friendly, clear and simple to follow. Best of all, it's very easy to apply. No mixing, guessing or opportunity to screw it up. The only variable is the amount of time to leave it on; 12-15 minutes seems about right (for me). The results are very natural especially when compared to other store-bought products that I've used. Bottom line - I highly recommend it.
