Yunnan Golden Needle Premium Loose Leaf Black Tea - Chiswick Tea Co - 100g

This tea is so smooth that it doesn't catch the back of your throat. Factually it is way better per 100g than a previous tea Yunnan reviewed, one which though very good, doesn't touch Chiswick's premium tea.Initially I bought 50g as a taster. Loving it, next time I'll order 100g or even 250g. It's that good. Lovely colour, too.

This is now my everyday indulgence tea. Lovely, delicate taste and can re-brew the same leaves about 3 times and still get a good flavour.

I took a sip of this fine tea and downed the rest at once,Then jumped and danced around the room like some almighty ponce,I like the picture on the front and the packets also handy,I have to say when i open it up i cant help but feel dandy,Two tea spoons sire, in the pot and thats about enough,I like my tea a tad strong but i dare not waste this stuff,I always buy my tea from these, i guess i like thier jib,They products always seem quite good - they never tell a fib,Sometimes on a winters night i have a warming beaker,And listen as the cold wind howls from Gods almighty speaker,In the spring, yes maam, ill take a glass,And watch the snow and the cold winds pass,Summer, tea, black, no sugar please,And sip it, under sun soaked trees,In autumn, "more tea!" i cry, beneath the trees as old leaves fly,And the songs of summer softly die...

Great tea, I will certainly buy it again!

I'm a convert to Yunan Gold and Chiswick Tea Co. are by far the cheapest supplier I've found for this quality leaf. I find their Yunnan Gold is a slightly more satisfying robust and flavourfull daily cuppa (and cheaper), and this Golden Needle is the more delicate cousin. The downside is you'll never be able to go back to your old favourite tea bag again.
