It really works!
I tried this on a Honda 2000EU that I've had for 16 years. Was always careful about keeping fuel stabilizer in it off season to avoid carb issues, but must have forgotten. This generator always started on about 1/2 pull, but this time 50-60 pulls produced no results.I had disassembled the carb on a Yamaha generator 10 years before. It's not that hard, but the plugged orifices were so small I couldn't even see them and there are small parts to lose which I'm real good at. Didn't want to dissasemble the carb to fix the Honda so decided to try MiB. Emptying the fuel bowl to get started provided additional insight of the likely culprit--varnished fuel plugging up the works. I used a small syringe I got from the vet to give medication by mouth to one of our cats and injected MiB into the carb fuel supply hose replacing all the fuel in the fuel bowl with MiB. Twenty-four hours later, drained the MiB into a yogurt cup and replaced with fuel. Generator started right up! I thought that was pretty amazing. I filtered the effluent MiB from the carb bowl through a coffee filter and used it to run through a full tank of gas for the generator. Three years later, that generator still starts on 1/2 pull again.Used it again on a Husqvarna chain saw that had a similar problem and again this summer on a Craftsman wheeled trimmer. The wheeled trimmer had another problem that MiB wouldn't fix. Somehow a piece of a disintegrating tarp got into the fuel bowl and snaked its way into the take-up orifice. MiB wasn't going to fix that. After removing the debris, it started with a little difficulty and didn't idle smoothly. I just let it run to ensure good distribution of properly scaled amount of MiB to the trimmer's fuel tank size and that fixed it. That took 2 days of soaking with occasional starts to test it. This trimmer never started on a slow pull before. It does now.So I'm a fan! After all of these successes, I decided to buy a case of MiB to get the cost down and to give a few 8 oz bottles to friends and family. This works in just a few hours and in the case of the trimmer took 2 days for a full recovery. I'd give it time to do its job. If varnished fuel is the real problem, I believe this will fix it.

Fantastic Stuff
We have a log splitter that was not started for over 2 years and still had gas in it. We added Mechanic in a Bottle let it sit overnight and added some gas and it started the next day on the first pull. Have used it in poor running 4-wheelers, lawnmowers, generators etc. It's work like magic.

Half a tank of gas and one 7oz bottle in each of my company trucks monthly keeps them running smooth.

Good stuff
This is really good stuff and have used it over the years. I highly recommend it. My only reason for 4 stars was the packaging wasn't the best and had one bottle leak just a bit. Not horrible, but wish they had done a tad better. Other than that good stuff.

Cleans the carb very well. Has corrected engine surging issues on snowblower two years in a row.
