Much better than Vvivid
I previously installed a Vvivid vinyl blackout kit on my trim. It was somewhat difficult to install and required a bunch of heating to follow the contours of the window trim, but it worked. After a few months, it shrank back, and after a year it was peeling off. I can't speak to the longevity of the 3M vinyl, but the installation bodes well. The 3M material feels thicker but is more flexible, requiring no heat to follow the contours of my windows. Since it didn't need to be heated, it didn't shrink back after a month of temperature fluctuations. The adhesive feels stronger and the process was easier. The knife provided is useless for anything but cutting yourself. I recommend taping it shut and tossing it. Squeegees are always good to have, but on something this narrow you probably don't need one. Just buy a roll long enough for extra because the process takes time and patience. You'll likely mess up one or two sections along the way. Knifeless tape is a game-changer so you don't need to put a sharp knife against your chrome plastic. Watch some tutorials, prep your surface, take your time, apply in a warm, clean environment, and be kind/patient with yourself if you're not intimately familiar with vinyl wrapping.

Great Quality ❤️❤️❤️
Great product great quality just a whole lot of greatness for a wonderful product. If you want a high quality wrap spend a little more and get a whole lot more. Just in cleaning it alone you will save oodles of time. When it comes to wrap 3m is the only company I trust. 🔥🔥 ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥

Great for Chrome Delete!
I did a chrome delete on my car with this over a year ago. It’s super sticky and has stayed on for the past year without issue, it being thick helps (I was worried about car washes or rain but theres been no issues). It was a TON cheaper than going somewhere else. This roll was enough for my entire car, it’s easy to stretch. I did the grill and windows. I like the satin texture instead of a shine.

works very well, but tape was poorly cut
Works very well and the result looks good. Sadly the rolls seems to have been cut with a blunt knife in the factory as the edges were frayed which had to be corrected manually which needed some extra effort. Yet overall it worked well and easier as other brands of vinyl which I have used before.

2019 Toyota rav4
So far so good. It was difficult to work with the first side of my car (driver). But once I moved to the passenger side I felt like a pro. I am thankful I have a Cricut Machine with tools which had a particular tool that was very useful in dealing with the placement and curvature of what I was doing. (See photos) it helped push the Vinyl tape into the rubber seal? And cut it while doing so in 80% of the places. Being the tape doesn’t seem sticky when placing; which was good in working with to be honest, easy adjustments, BUT…I am skeptical it will last through multiple car washes and harsh winters, but if it does I will be redoing the driver side come spring, now that I have another tool to utilize in the success of it’s placement. I have photos up, and the wrinkles are on the driver side (1st try). The smooth side is passenger side. (2nd try). Great color match too! By the way. 🤞🏾🤞🏾hopeful that it lasts. I’m so far very happy with this project and it’s inexpensive.

Take your time, buy the right supplies and it looks great
This stuff is great quality and looks so good on my car. I went with the gloss black and think the little bit of reflection of the gloss matches the car well. I was able to use a 2" thick roll for window trim and a 3" thick roll for the bottom trim on my car. Take your time, buy a kit on Amazon with razors, applicator tools, etc. and also make sure you get a good heat gun. Window trim is pretty easy, just be careful to not cut too close to the chrome as any miscuts can mean you've gotta start that entire piece over again. Go slow, measure twice. Watch some YouTube videos to get tips and plan to need a little extra product as you might waste some as you learn how to best apply it.

Two Inch Wide That Should Cover Any Chrome on Vehicle
I cannot say enough about how satisfied I am. I originally had another custom vinyl tape for my suv, but it was only one inch wide, compared to two inches of this tape, and It makes a big difference when trying to stretch to fit. I like the matte versus the shiny black that was offered. My only complaint was it was not enough to do my entire vehicle lol! For the money, it was a good purchase.

Good product! First time ever at a chrome delete.
Bought this to wrap the chrome window trim on a 2020 Civic Hatchback EX, and it did the job great. This was my first ever attempt at something like this and I was scared as hell going into it. I watched youtube videos in prep, and also ordered an additional tool kit for $10. I also used a hair dryer which I feel is a must, it really causes it to pull up tight into the corners. There is a thin layer of clear protective plastic wrap stuff that you are supposed to peel off at the end of the project. I was like "wow that doesnt look good" peeled it off "wow that looks GREAT"

Very expensive for what you got. Looks like it was just cut off a long roll as the ends were frayed. I wouldn’t buy again
