Taylor's chalk roller is so easy to use. I use it in all my quilting and sewing. I have several with different colored chalks, so I don't have to change the chalk every time.

Fits as designed

Works well on fabric but not so well on knitted sweater.

Used it on a thick shinny silk like fabric and works well. That fabric was hard for the usual tailor's chalk since the chalk would glide on the fabric instead of marking the fabric. I also used washable fabric markers on my fabric but it was hard to see since the fabric is shinny so this one works perfectly for this kind of fabric.Easy to grip and roll nicely on fabrics. Doesn't move the fabric around like the usual tailors chalks. Only con is you have to go over the line a couple of time to get thicker/visible lines. But if done correctly, it won't shift light fabric around, so it's doable.

I’ve used this type of chalk marker for years in my sewing. Not wanting to pay $18 for new ones, I bought a white and blue marker. Only after repeated tries did the wheels move, but NO chalk ever appeared on the fabric. And I tried repeatedly.Save your money and frustration. Don’t buy!
