Q: Is the stem flexible?

Very flexible - too flexible in my opinion-not as sturdy as Q Tip brand...I won't buy this brand again

Q: When will the company be changing over to all cardboard box? The plastic they use is yester-year. The new crowd wants plastic free.

I don't care about "plastic-free". I just want quality it whichever form.

I ordered these last year and didn't notice an odor, but I wonder if something is happening in the Amazon warehouses. I have had to return other items due to the overpowering laundry detergent/dryer sheet stench. Why do so many people want to smell like this now? It's not only noxious, but it clings to fabric and doesn't easily wash out, or even air out. Ugh. I'd return them if I were you.

Q: How do you know that you are authentic?

I’m assuming you mean the cotton swabs? If so I believe they are authentic from the certification symbols on the back, also as I’ve bought them I’m 100% sure they are 100% plastic free and biodegradable.
