Really enjoyable
My first Tess Gerritsen book. Don’t know what to expect, and actually (stupid me), thought it was the basis for the movie “Gravity”, which I enjoyed immensely (and still do.)Well, it wasn’t, but that didn’t matter. I really enjoyed this. Great writing, good plot pacing, and sufficiently grounded in science to balance between being believable while not being overly sci-fi nerdy. The cast of characters is large, but most have some inner voices. Which gave it depth and credibility and low the interest level up. There weren’t black-and-white heroes or villains. And glad to have found this and will look for her other books.

Couldn’t put it down
A good 3/4 of the book was so riveting I forgot everything else and just devoured it. The remainder was still quite good and the final paragraph in particular was simply beautiful.

Fast-Paced, Great Concept
Gravity is the fourth or fifth Sci-Fi/Thriller novel I've read over the past year. I'm reviewing it here because I thoroughly enjoyed the story. There's plenty of science and technical info, but it was written in a way that didn't bore me or slow down the story. The character development was realistic. I found myself rooting for all of them, even the government officials who were desperate to keep the public ignorant of the crisis. They had an excellent reason for keeping a tight lid on what had happened (and was still happening) to the astronauts in the space station. At the beginning, I wondered what would happen to the scientist who was trapped in a sub 19K feet below sea level. Then I wondered how the sub-plot of the brothers who were trying to make their own spaceship was going to tie in to the main story. All of my questions were answered by the end of the story.I look forward to reading Gerritsen's other novels to see if they pack the same punch.

Tense Drama and Sci-fi Thriller
This is much different from what I expected from Tests Gerritsen. While there is a great deal of medical investigation, instead of a crime to solve, this is about a biological predator that needs to be stopped. Throw in the location, the space station, and you've got a wild chase to find a cure in a race against time. Page turning from cover to cover.

Great Read, interesting topic
I enjoyed this book and want to read more on this topic, space travel, and life forms from the far reaches on the universe!

Exciting Novel
Loved the perseverance of the characters. It restored my faith that a great story can be not just a failure but also a triumph!

Couldn't put this book down!
I am constantly amazed with the storytelling skills of Tess Gerritson. Every book or series she has written (that ive read) are gripping and surprising. Her research really added to the authenticity of this book. I couldn't put it down and I kept thinking this could be real!!!

Virus. In. Spaaaaaaaace (remember “Pigs in Space” from “The Muppet Show”? Like that.)
Astronaut/physician Emma Watson (this was an odd choice. I couldn’t find a publication date on this copy, but she’s been a famous actress for quite some time. You wouldn’t name a character “Julia Roberts” unless you were going for a meta-type “but not THAT one” throughout. But I digress.) and her crew are set to go to the International Space Station when a tragedy at home means Watson must go early to substitute for an astronaut who may come home. Watson is also in the process of finalizing her divorce from former astronaut/physician Jim MacCallum, who never actually got to go into space.Watson hasn’t been at ISS long when one of the crew members stationed there becomes gravely ill. What’s wrong with him? Does it have anything to do with the experiments the crew is performing on board? And what should be done? You can tell the author did a lot of homework in writing this and the passage on space flight and life on the ISS are very good (I mean, I would know, having read Mary Roach’s book and all.) Interesting enough tale as long as you’re willing to suspend some disbelief (um, hi. MacCallum doesn’t actually work for NASA anymore. Thanks.) I appreciated the federal government’s efforts to avoid a global pandemic and wish our current President would consider doing the same (oh, yeah. Had to be said.) Good, quick quarantine read.
