It is more of a mint green color when you receive the item. The exact same color you see in the pictures.

not sure - I returned this product for a refund because it was so poorly made

will this get rid of fan noise?

Depends on fan. It's all about your microphone. Mine does'n even catch these noises... So this foam, for me, has more of a protective function.

Will this stay on if the mic is upside-down?

Yes, it fits perfectly and will not come off unless taken off
