Stewart Candy Company Old Fashioned Soft Butter Mints, 9 oz. Tub

They are very good but not that good for the price. The taste is great and the correct melt in your mouth feel but I will not buy again due to the price.

Was advertised as soft & buttery… what I got was hard & *very* peppermint forward and almost no butter flavor. Purchased/received June 2025, expiration date on pkg shows as 2/3/2027 so staleness not a factor. These weren’t cheap (@$16. for 9 oz) so to say I’m disappointed is an understatement ☹️

they are hard and cruchy not worth buying, they certainally don't melt in your mouth. I actually have found no butter mints they soft, so I am going directly to candy companies to see if they sell less than several months old. Don't waste you money

Love the texture and taste. I like soft butter mints and they are so hard to find. My granddaughter loves them. Keep them on hand for her

These were really good but not as buttery as the originals

The worst product I have ever purchased! Product lists Red 40, Red 40 Lake, Blue 1, Yellow 5, TBHQ. These dyes are petroleum based products. TBHQ is a preservative that more than likely should not be consumed. This product is non-returnable! I bought this because it is made in this country. What a mistake and waste of money.

Was looking for a replica of the old Vernell’s butter mints, and this is pretty close!

Was excited to try. Disappointed in how hard these were, and how long it took to dissolve in your mouth. Best by date was a year down the road, so had to be how they're made!
