Perfect mixer for small, medium, and possibly large kitchen endeavors!
I was surpised with how well this handmixer performed for how much it cost. It has just enough power to get the job done. It's not a "high-power" mixer, but it can definitely handle everyday, easy to do mixing like, pancakes, cakes, cookies, etc. My daughter loves it, and we both tend to use it with this Sagler Set of 3 Mixing Bowls with lids set that we bought off of Amazon a while back. Between the bowls being skid-proof, and the hand mixer working exceptionally well, our baking endeavors have never been better. **Special note: I'm new-ish to baking, so I don't own any fancy kitchen gadgets insofar as baking goes. So right now, this mixer, spatulas, the mixing bowls, handheld whisks, etc. is all we use to make the things that we want to bake; and so far so good. I've made homemade cakes, cookies, bread, rolls, biscuits, hamburger buns, Italian breadsticks, brownies, bars, and many other things, and this mixer has met our needs :) **

I purchased as a quick replacement mixer
This mixer is serving my needs until I move. My stand mixer and 2 hand held mixers are packed up for a move. I needed something inexpensive. This is serving it's purpose adequately. Will I continue to use once I move and get my hands on my everyday mixers? Probably not but will hold onto in case extra mixer is needed. Good value for the price. I bake a lot so mixers are a must have for me. If you need an inexpensive mixer to be used occasionally, this is it.

Convenient but cheap
I looked for awhile for the right small appliance. I wanted a simple hand-held mixer after having to let go of my old one because of rusting of the beaters and mechanism after many decades of use. While this one is light and relatively easy to use, it feels poorly made. The mixer is wobbly on the counter, the beaters don't consistently fit, and after three uses, the beaters and parts are already rusting. Once it gets going, it works fine, but the product is lacking in workmanship and feels a bit like a child's cheap toy. I'd keep looking if I were you; the low price should have been my clue.

Horrible Motor! Do Not Be Deceived By Price!
I bought this mixer right after Thanksgiving because I realized, while cooking Thanksgiving dinner, that I forgot to bring my old faithful hand mixer when I moved it California. It's currently in a storage unit until May, when I have the time to grab the rest of my belongings. So, since I was without a 5 speed mixer, I decided to buy one. This Proctor Silex had some decent reviews, and was almost $10 cheaper than similar brands, so I decided to buy it. I tried making a small texas sheet cake for my friend's birthday yesterday, the first time I used the mixer, and after only having it on speed 1-3 for a couple minutes, I smelled a weird mechanical smell, and right when I went turn it off, the mixer just completely shut down. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in to different outlets, but no good. The mixer had just completely died, on its very first job, after only a couple of minutes. I'm absolutely appalled that this happened. Yes, the mixer was cheap, but so was my old faithful, and it never had a problem with mixing anything: not cake batter, or brownie batter, or muffin mix, or pancake mix, or anything. I don't know if there was something mechanically wrong with the motor in the first place, maybe a defected part or something, but I just wish companies would stop selling defected products, 'cause now I'm out the $11 it cost, plus the cost of another mixer on top of it. Very disappointed.

For a small mixer it kicks butt! Works great, fits in most pots, loads of power. I like the beaters not like those new flimsy ones, sturdy

Es un poco pequeña pero cumple con su objetivo, si la usas de vez en cuando es una buena opcion. A mi me gusto

El paquete llegó muy pronto. El producto también llegó en perfectas condiciones. Es más pequeña de lo que imaginé, pero cumple perfectamente con su función.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my Mom. Up until a few years ago she had her old faithful which was light, super easy to hold and didn't spray everything out of the bowl. Well that one kicked the bucket a few years ago and she's been struggling to find one she likes ever since. Either the handle is stupid, or the beaters on it are really weird, or the motor doesn't have a low enough setting to make it useful without having to hand mix first to prevent everything going everywhere. Fast forward to Christmas, I picked this one mostly because of the handle design (the closed D shape). Go figure, the one she had bit the bullet about a week later and so she ended up using this one and her first comment was that it actually has different speeds. The low is still faster than her old one, but it's slower than all of the other ones she's tried so far. So as far as I can tell, she's fairly happy with it haha.
