Fabulous and Amazing!
First off - I did my homework on DHEA. I am now almost 60, and have used BIO Identical Hormone cremes in my 40's compounded by a pharmacy and prescribed by my Naturopath MD. It was exhorbitantly expensive back then. I stopped using cremes in my 50's and now have been experiencing the dreaded hot flashes, along with the typical menopause symptoms of vaginal dryness, fatigue, muscle tone loss - you name it. I have tried ALL sorts of supplements and cremes, they would work for a while, then quit working. I love cocoa butter - which these are made from, I refuse to use chemical hormones of any kind, so I decided to try these inserts, as reviews claimed vaginal pain and discomfort would ease, AND repair the vaginal wall, along with increased energy and skin tone. THEY WORK for me. Intercourse pain is less, the dryness is less, my energy is up, body aches, pains gone. I am very sensitive - and had read on another reviewer's post how she doses. I find if I take too much or too little - I get neuralgia or hot flashes. So it is a fine balance of dosing and watching my symptoms daily. I take 1/2 suppository, every other day. I keep them in the freezer. I also add Pregesterone cream pumped from another Amazon brand on the off day. I have used a different brand of DHEA creme on the day in between of the suppository - and I can vouch the creme is NOT as good as the suppository. The cocoa butter does not burn, and I love the smell, and it is not that messy during the day ( I insert it in the AM) I have recommended these to my Mother and other friends as well. They definately work for a multitude of Menopausal symptoms, I highly recommend them. My push for me to try them, was painful intercourse, and HORRID neverending hot flashes so intense I couldn't sleep, ALL of which are now fixed.

Works well; and the burning is temporary
I'm using this product in addition to .05mg estrogen patch +100mg oral micronized progesterone AND prescription vaginal estrogen cream. The systemic HRT was not addressing vulval atrophy that was causing a general burning sensation and urge incontinence (good people of Amazon, I did NOT reach this young-old age to start peeing my pants, wtf). The vaginal estrogen cream was added to address these symptoms...and it helps, for sure, but I feel like it's got a fairly weak effect (it's super low concentration of course) and it wasn't appreciably bringing back my clitoris which, I'm not kidding, seemed to have shrunk. (I mean atrophy is atrophy, sadly.) So I decided that in between my 2x a week vaginal estrogen cream applications, I would try vaginal DHEA suppository 2x a week as well. #1, I do think this is working better for the aforementioned symptoms (preventing the urge incontinence, vaginal dryness, vulvar burning) than the estrogen cream alone; and #2, it's ... increasing my libido! Also I think my clitoris is back, I mean the tissue feels more normal/like it used to before my hormones apparently fell off a cliff. Local DHEA like this has been shown, in clinical studies, to actually improve libido, unlike estrogen cream btw. But I wasn't even hoping for it, I just wanted to fix the slide into incontinence or chronic urinary tract infections like a lot of people get with untreated GSM. Turns out to be a great side benefit! Therefore, I recommend trying this product for Genitourinary Symptoms of Menopause (GSM). But I mainly came to write all this to let the "ow it burns" people know the following: 1. While reading up on all things menopause, HRT and GSM-related, I had noted that people using the prescription version of DHEA vaginal suppository (Intrarosa) also reported burning from the suppository, as some of the reviewers here are complaining about as well. And the clinical study said that the burning sensation lessened with repeat use of Intrarosa; the hypothesis was that it burns early on, when your vaginal/vulvar tissues are thin and dry and, you know, atrophied; but once the DHEA gets working, and your tissues are coming back to normal, no more burning. 2. This has been true for me. I never had any burning with the vaginal estrogen cream, btw, even during the first two weeks' "use every day" period (part of the instructions for that prescription). With these DHEA vaginal inserts, I definitely noticed some burning. It wasn't THAT bad (someone on here said they wanted to rush to the hospital????), but noticeable for sure. After I'd say 4 or 5x use (over a period of a couple of weeks), this burning no longer occurs when I put in an ovule. Maybe the person saying it burned so much they nearly went to hospital actually has very bad GSM and REALLY needs to use DHEA or something else...try the vaginal estrogen for a while, see if you can improve matters until DHEA doesn't hurt that much. But for sure you need something, good luck! Anyway hope that helps.

Amazing! And Great Customer Service
Absolutely a game changer and finally something that actually worked. I’m in perimenopause and been having issues with libido , dryness and GSM, urinary urgency and infections after every sex act along with burning and urinary pain, literally all of it! I used compounded testosterone cream and that did nothing but get me some facial hair I didn’t have before (apparently I’m super sensitive to it) I’ve been using vaginal estrodiol for 6 months and that barely added any moisture . I used these 13mg dhea suppositories for 14 days straight and after that cut it in half and use that dose 4 times a week, I would even go as far as to say I don’t need to use it 4 times a week but I’m not there yet. Before this I had lost about 80% of any sensitivity I had to anything related to sex and I was dryyy like the desert floor. On day 12, I suddenly felt my sensation and urge for sex suddenly appear. I had no expectations because nothing had worked yet and I had been dealing with this for about 6 years. I’m still in shock at the efficacy of this product. I don’t mind the smell of cocoa butter at all and neither does my husband. I actually enjoy the smell and the feeling of velvety lubricant. It’s affordable and effective! And I’m grateful for it.

Clean ingredients.
I chose these as opposed to creams that have indescribable ingredients. I love the smell & my husband doesn't mind it either. I started with the Bezwecken hydration ovals first for about a month, so when I started using these, I never felt the burning some reviewers mention. I use these every 3 days & alternate with prescription estradiol. Estradiol does a good job of restoring tissues, but not libido. These have helped with that. The only negatives of these is that they are expensive & they do melt if you order them when the weather is warm. The shipper could do a better job of packing them. One little cold pack does not help.

Helps with libido and feeling of well-being
I have used this product for over a year now and after much experimentation have found what works best for me. Hopefully, this will help someone else as it has been a wonderful find! First off, if you’re post-menopausal and painfully dry (which I was), I would suggest finding a good hormone doctor and experimenting with them until you find the right combination of estrogen and progesterone for you. Don’t give up immediately if the first HRT med gives you problems. It’s well worth finding one that works well for you! But they don’t give you any testosterone which is a shame because you need that as well and I'm pretty sure my level was zero. This is where this product is immensely helpful! Dhea is a precursor of testosterone meaning it’s likely to turn into testosterone in your body. For me, this has been the case. You don’t need very much testosterone but you do need a little bit to feel well. I have found through trial and error that what effects you the most is a sudden increase or decrease of testosterone levels. A sudden increase will be cause an increase in libido and sensation as well as a feeling of well-being. A sudden decrease (which will follow a sudden increase if you don’t make an effort to not let it) causes you to feel moody, weepy, depressed and insecure. For me, what works best is a few swipes on the skin in bony areas (collar bone, front of lower legs ,etc.) every night (this uses about 1 oval every 2-3 weeks) and helps me have a feeling of well-being and keeps the testosterone level from dropping too much when I do use more. Then (about once a week for me) when I know I’m gonna want an increase in libido, I use a whole oval the night before, use it for all the swipes I want, rub it generously on the clitoris and put the rest in the vagina. Yes, it does cause a slight burning sensation for a few minutes right after you put it on but it’s not a big deal. And yes, it has a strong (not bad, kind of cocoa butter) smell, but I can live with that. The increased interest and sensation is amazing! Something I thought I would never feel again! This isn't a product where you think it might be helping but you're not sure. The change with this product is huge and definite! But as nice as that is (helps the marital relationship a lot), for me, the best part is the constant feeling of confidence and well-being from swiping a little on every night. I highly recommend this product for increasing libido if you’re post-menopausal but a word of caution. I did not have as good of results when I used a lot more of it. Instead I just broke out (acne at my age haha), and had less of a libido boost and was more likely to feel moody. Once again, I think it's the sudden increases and decreases that makes the difference.

Ovals melted all over package and they were ruined--on the last 3 deliveries! Waste of money.
I thought they were pretty good and I was becoming a regular customer but the last 3 orders the ovals melted all over the package. Even putting it into the refridge immediately on receiving as they suggested didn't help because it had already spilled all over the top of the plastic so I ended up getting less than half of the product. And the ones remaining were all crumbly and hard to remove. That's a waste of money and product. They need to re-think the shipping method because clearly this way is not working. If it's even slightly warm out, do NOT order or you'll get ruined product.

Effective product
Recommended by my Gyn many years ago; I continue to buy it because it works. It has a lovely cocoa fragrance, too!

Very Moisturizing!
This was recommended to me by my Naturopathic Physician and I can highly recommend the product to do what it is supposed to do. The only downside is that if you live in areas such as Arizona, where the heat affects everything, order it during the winter months as they say to do, so that it doesn't melt. The quality of the product is still perfect, it is just not as easy to work with.
