BUFF UV Multifunctional Headwear

I have used one of these before when I snowboard as a gaiter. However, my main reason for buying another one is to use under my bicycle helmet to protect my baby fine fragile hair! My mountain bike helmet was breaking off my hair in the front area of my helmet. Basically, I'm using it as a do rag. Since it has wicking properties, it's not overly hot, and my hair looks okay when I remove it. The proof as to whether or not it's serving my purpose will be what my hairdresser says at my next appointment. I will use it under my helmet when I snowboard, too, to keep my hair from becoming a giant rat's nest. I've had to cut knots out of my hair after a day of boarding, because it gets so snarled from being in the wind. I haven't taken it backpacking yet, but it would serve me well when the weather is cold to wear as a hat in my sleeping bag. It's snug enough, it would stay on and keep my head and ears warm. Also, for winter hiking under my hat, to keep the wind out of my ears and keep my hair in place.

I purchased this headband because I wanted something that would hold my hair in place during physical activities, specifically yoga. The headband is great for running, hiking, weightlifting, and everyday use. However, it does not work well for me for yoga, especially if we are practicing headstands or inversions. Without fail, this headband slips off my head during most of my yoga classes, and I have to break my concentration to adjust it or put it on again. It's disappointing, but I'm still glad I purchased the buff. It was great to have when I went hiking in Georgia in October. It was pretty cold outside, and the buff shielded me from the sun while also keeping my ears and neck warm!

Up until a month or so ago I had no idea what a "buff" was. I asked around and no one could give me an answer at first. I kept researching on the internet and finally realize what it is.Even though buffs come in a number of prints, I love this one because it has "passport stamps" all over it. It's a pilgrimage thing.Very comfortable as well as durable being made of synthetic material that is very stretchy and there are quite a few ways you can wear this and you can view the instructions on YouTube easily.It is highly wicking and does a good job of blocking wind, dust, and sun from you neck or face...

I really love these headbands. I wear mine for yoga to keep sweat out of my eyes, in the kayak to keep the sun off my head. In the winter they are great to have when I run to wear around my neck and pull up to pull up to protect my face and ears. They're pricey but worth it. They last forever. And the designs/colors are cool.

Nice buff. Really like the passport theme. It's a good size, not too short, and not too tight. However, the color is not as pictured. I thought it would be a white background judging by the picture, but it's an unattractive yellowish hue. I'm probably going to return it.

I wear this product for neck warmth in winter and uv protection in summer. It is a beautiful design and color and a good fit. I was happy to find this product because as I was washing my well worn old Buff I came across the logo enabling me to order a new one. Thank you for making this uv protective and so versatile to wear in many different ways so that I can take it to the beach for a walk in summer and in winter.

The description said that this was a unisex buff. When it arrived, it was actually a woman's slim fit and did not fit properly.

I thought the fabric would be much thicker but this is thinner than cotton and not really helpful for keeping you warm. It really is like putting on a banana and not at all like putting on a scarf. The design is cool but I would wear this more to keep my hair back than for any kind of warmth of wind protection.
