I bought this for my son who is a twin and was squished in my belly. I put the hat on him and he freaked out. I left it on as long as I could, but it was torture for my 2 month old. Some newborns find comfort in turning their heads from side to side because it reminds them of being in the womb and my sonn is one of them. It's a great idea, but the head turning is highly common so the beanie didn't work for us. His twin sister hated it as well. I had high hopes though.
