UPDATE 2: I have worn these shoes about five times and love them.....except....I'm so sad because after two wears the inner sole leather lining start to come up in the shoe. It's all folded back and no matter how hard I try to flatten it, it scrunches up and drives me nuts. I guess I need to have them repaired by a shoemaker but after five wears this was a bummer.UPDATE: I switched these to a five star rating. After decided to just see if I could make them work because I loved them so much, I wore them around the house for a day or two and then just let them rest in the back of my closet for a week. The next time I put them on, they fit perfectly without even the slightest bit of snugness. I guess they needed a little stretching and then some time to relax in the new position. So glad I randomly decided to try again with these shoes. They're wildly comfortable and really simple and well made.I would give these shoes five stars but they are way too tight. The leather is beautiful and supple, and the design is perfectly understated, but they were so small. I normally wear a 9.5 to a 10 so I ordered the 10 in black. It felt like I was stuffing my foot into a sausage casing. I bought a pair in 10 in portobello at Bloomingdales and they do seem to fit, so I don't know if the dye makes a difference in shoe stretch or what, but I'm really disappointed. These would've been perfect. I would order a 10.5 but they don't make that size. Will have to return.

Fits snug in the ball and just a hair on the short side. I removed the entire sock and put in a lighter thickness foam and fit was perfect. I think that the width of the insole is narrow for a comfort shoe brand. Not sure why they used a hard insole tuck board...would have been super flexible and softer with just proper thickness insole paper instead...i am replacing the whole insole so these will feel how a moc should feel. Love the silver leather though it is bit too shiny? Hopeing to wear the leather out so it looks less foiled.

I usually wear a size 7.5 in this brand and so glad I ordered an 8 instead. The shoes are exactly what I was looking for so I decided to keep them and have the width stretched to make them wider in the toe area. For my feet they do not provide all day arch support, however, they are great for 3-4 hours. I do think the more I wear them.... the more comfortable they will become. The shoes arrived in the original box and in perfect condition.

have arch support, but not the quality that Gentle Souls should have. I don't know what kind of leather they are，they are not the deerskin that Gentle Souls always used. They have been dyed，that made insole a little stiff and rough. And these shoes have strongly stinky smell of glue，which will be hazardous to health. My hand have the same stinky smell after touching these shoes, so it's not recommended to wear them without socks.Only original skin can be breathable and soft, no necessary to dye the leather really！I usually wear 6.5，But these shoes run a little narrow，7 fit just fine with wearing socks into.

I am either a 5.5 or 6, depending on the brand, but ordered a 5.5 because I tried these on at a store, and discovered that they run a little loose (and also are likely to stretch over time). The 5.5 fit well. The shoe is comfortable, and breaks in fast. The only concern I have is that the black suede turns my heels BLUE! If I wear socks, those turn blue as well. The blue dye doesn't wash off and takes a couple days to come off. For a shoe at this price, that's unfortunate.

I don't have a problem with gentle souls but these is a little off, I think the more I wear them the better they will get, the fit is not all that bad and even it I went up a half of size and they would be too big.

I bought a half-size larger than I usually wear. This is my second pair--first pair was a 9 and was too short. 91/2 is perfect.

I purchased these for a trip I had taken to Italy. They were amazing!! Felt like slippers. No blisters, no sores, no socks. I'd like to purchase another pair in a different colour!

These shoes look like they'd be comfy, IF they fit. They have a very narrow toe box and are quite pointy. If you have pointy feet, order these shoes! My feet are more like bricks - a la Flintstone's feet, so they do not fit me at all.

Very comfortable and great leather.
