This kit has everything you need to get started. The variety of colors is nice, and the roving is very soft and easy to work with. Each tiny hunk of roving is in its own little bag so easy to keep clean and separated. There's not much of each color but I use it to make small decorations on my homemade felted soap so it's plenty for my purposes, The needles work fine, I haven't used the clippers but the finger guards came in very handy (after I stabbed myself a couple of times and then remembered to put them on, lol). I recommend this set and will probably buy more when I run out of the this one.

This is a great kit for adults and children alike to dip their toes into the world of needle felting. This kit made it easy to get started with everything included and encouraged me to purchase a bit more wool for a heftier project after making a few small things. My only complaint is the little leather finger cots didn't really work too well with my fingers? A little stiff and hard to work with. Maybe my fingers were too small, though? Either way, I still give a 5 star review for the kit. Everything else was perfect, and I really appreciate so many colors to pick and sample from.

The Habbi Wool Roving Kit was delivered on time and packaging was great. Everything arrived as described. Great kit to start needle felting with. Perfect for beginners! Great price for the color selection and tools that are included. I would recommend buying for small felt projects because you only get a small amount of each color but 72 colors to choose from.

A fine starting kit for beginners like me— I only wish it came with instructions. Be aware that the colored wool samples are pretty tiny, and you’ll probably need to buy a larger stock of plain white wool for pieces of any reasonable size to avoid running out of a color quickly. Also, there are a couple tools I have no idea how to use or what they’re even for— a little pamphlet or paper outlining what each thing is would be nice!

My very first attempt at felting, as you can imagine I stabbed my fingers A LOT (comes with leather finger guards but I live my craft life on the edge and bareback it) Soo many colors to choose from, other descriptions about amount per color (about a palm full) are very accurate I put them all together in a 3/4 gallon sized jar and had to do some squishing. I would highly recommend this for the super beginner the ONLY tiny -eh- I have about this is the needles aren't labeled so there was a curve and Google education so I could tell them apart but over all I'm thrilled

Gave this to dtr to try bc the finished products I've seen are so cute. Dtr said it was easy to learn, and even designed and produced a little doll that looks like our cat! Only complaint: amount of wool per color is small, and there are a few that she doesn't fancy using (but you never know!) Still, she enjoyed learning the craft, and will probably make me order more wool in the future.

I am really excited to try this out. I've had this kind of kit on my list for a while and am glad I made the jump to try it. I recieved 72 beautiful colors. I plan on using the wool for accents on a baby mobile. It was a great value for the price. Yes the bags are small..it's 3 grams. To the person who said they were the size of druggie baggies, where are you getting your drugs?! Definitely no dime bags or even nic bags here.

First off I did get all 72 DIFFERENT colors. each about the size of a golf ball. Not very large. Got all the other items listed as well, Including a glue stick. Not sure why a glue stick was included as there is no way to use it if you don't have a mini glue gun. The tool box is very tiny and it only fits the tools. Mine came with 2 wooden handles and an assortment of needles in a round needle case. The "scissors" came unusable. In my opinion they are quite sharp and dangerous because they did not open and close as they should. The blades were stuck on each other and no attempt to "close" them to cut anything would work. I determined the manufacture was bad as the blades were bent. attempts to correct the issue almost ended up with a severe cut. I tossed them out. The leather finger guards (one for thumb and one for forefinger) don't fit. I'm a 5'4" women and the thumb guard was way too big and the other one was way too small. So neither one worked. Sewing wise they were pretty sadly sewn. So the scissors and guards were a disappointment. But getting all the different colors was a nice start. My recommendation to this company is to forget the scissors (we all have that) and improve the finger guards or leave them out and INSTEAD include a much larger portion of plain white or cream wool to use as a base to over lay the colors on. That way you get more bang for the buck with the colors. People don't use the colors to make the core of the bodies. You will have to purchase just plain white for that. then use this nice color palette to decorate or skin your core. Luckily I have some plain fleece to work with. A nice sampling of colors but in my mind not worth the cost in the long run. would not purchase again.
