lightweight and mobile
I bought these after purchasing other 3/4 pants that were too small. I read reviews before purchasing that said these ran small and decided to get the XL even though I'm normally a large. I think that these might run a touch small, but I don't thinik I'm an XL either as they ended up being a little looser than I expected.Pro: Material is incredibly light weight, dries fast (wore them in a rain forest, and under a waterfall), pockets are secure, waist band is comfortable.Con: leg size around knee is adjustable with hook and loop tab. I didn't feel this tab was very secure, and I thought the fabric bunched weird when it was tightened. I prefer a snug fit around the knee, and when they were fully expanded they just look like long shorts to me. There is also a draw string to secure the waist, but I felt like this was a little cumbersome with the button and zipper and drawstring... I think just a web belt would be better, and I may pull the drawstring out.Overall I was pleased, and they were comfortable to wear. Maybe not as substantial as a pair of touring pants I got my son, but for outdoor activities they certainly did the trick in wet and dry conditions. I knocked a star off because I think that while these are good, there are probably better options out there.

Very happy with them! Note the sizing.
First off - these are great shorts. I wear knee and shin guards when mountain biking, and wanted something a little longer that'd cover the knee pads. These are perfect - the ventilation on the back of the knees is a great touch, and they have plenty of zippered pockets to keep all of your maps/gels/etc in. They've held up to two washes and haven't shrunk, and all in all I'm very happy with them. Two things to note - at least in my case, these seem to run small. I am an XL in just about everything (I have a 38" waist) - including all of the Pearl Izumi/Icon/A*/Fox gear. The XXL in these fit me much better than the XL - tight around the waist and not too baggy. So you may want to consider a size up.Second - they are THIN. Like, bathing suit thin. I suspect they'll be fantastic in the summer, but they are a little on the chilly side in the cooler weather. That makes them dry out quickly (which is great), but for fall riding you'll want to consider a layer under them in addition the usual padded shorts/tights.All in all - very happy with them. They fit great, look great, and hit all the right marks.

It fits perfectly and the material is like any other
Was a little concern about the brand since I never heard of it but I took the risk and it was totally worth it. It fits perfectly and the material is like any other, great shorts.

Sizing info off
Nice shorts but run way small, like 2 sizes. 41" waist and 3X, still no way I could use them.

Nice
I must say I'm glad I listened to one of the reviews, because the pants do run small. Unless they are supposed to be nut huggers. I like my pants just a little loose and they are just that. Very nice shorts airy and comfortable.
