Works well and battery powered.
This flosser works well. The water tank isn't huge but it's large enough to make one lap around the mouth. I mix a bit of mouthwash in the water and the pump hasn't objected to the mixture. Battery powered so you can travel with it and it doesn't require 110 volt power. I'd buy it again if it went bad.

Excellent Portable Water Flosser – Powerful, Convenient, and Effective
I recently purchased the Waterpik Cordless Express Water Flosser, and I’m genuinely impressed. The build quality is outstanding—lightweight yet durable—and the setup was quick and effortless. The water flosser performs exactly as advertised, delivering strong and consistent water pressure that leaves my teeth and gums feeling exceptionally clean. The cordless design makes it perfect for travel or small bathrooms, and the reservoir capacity is just right for a thorough flossing session. It’s easy to grip, simple to refill, and very user-friendly overall. For the price, it offers excellent value and reliability. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective, well-designed, and dependable oral-care tool.

Good for trying out a water flosser, but may require some repair
I don't entirely know how I should review this. It works, and that should not be a surprise since this is the name brand. It is one of the cheapest options for a water flosser at about $30 and a good option if you want to try one out for the first time. Mine also stopped working (temporarily) after 1 year and 9 months. I don't know if the quality or the design of the internals is the real issue. It was a decent run for the price, but the name brand shouldn't suddenly fail like that. I think my ultimate issue was that the rotating arm you can see in the picture wiggled out of place, making it appear to be broken because it could not turn on. It worked again after reassembly, so it remains to be seen how long the internals will last. They look to be pretty good quality. For anyone else who had theirs stop working after a year or two, this should be fixable by just prying off the power slider (preferably with something plastic so you don't scratch it) and rotating/pressing the crank piece back into place. Make sure any flying plastic pieces don't get lost. If that doesn't do it, you will have to carefully cut through the weld at the bottom of the device and remove the slider and mouthpiece before sliding the internals out. A youtuber called TanakaBeat made a video showing how to do it for a similar model. The pros: Cheap, potentially good for travel, works fairly well, lasted nearly 2 years so far The cons: bad design so that it stops working after a year or two (until fixed), difficult to disassemble to fix their bad design

Gets Food Particles that Brushing Doesn't Get!
I purchased this battery operated WaterPik 5 months ago and it works great! The pulsating water gets food particles out of those hidden areas that brushing cannot possibly get out. It has 2 speeds of which I always use on high because there's more force behind the water pulse action which will help to remove any stubbornly stuck particles. I always brush my teeth first using an electric tooth brush, then I use the WaterPik. And every time I use it I always see more food particles fall into the sink, which means the WaterPik is cleaning where the tooth brush can't. This alone makes me very glad I purchased the WaterPik. The water container holds enough water for about 30 seconds of use, but it's very easy to quickly refill it. The unit came with 2 identical flosser tips which are easily exchanged when needed. Also there are a multitude of other tips available, I purchased a separate variety pack of 8 tip styles on Amazon. Battery life is not the greatest but that's easily overcome by using rechargeable batteries (I use Eneloop rechargeable batteries). The battery drainage is not really noticeable, i.e., the water pulses gradually become less powerful over time but you don't notice the gradual decrease. After about 2 weeks you can finally notice a decrease in power. It's really noticeable when you change the batteries after 2 weeks, after which you feel more powerful water pulses once again. Therefore because of this, I simply recharge the batteries every week to maintain powerful water pulses. The battery compartment is very tight (with rubber gasket) and not easily opened or closed. The tightness is expected in order to maintain a water free compartment to prevent short circuit damage. Nevertheless since I change the batteries often it has gotten easier over time. Additionally the clear plastic water container can be removed for cleaning. This is how it worked for me. Push it downward towards the bottom of the unit and it will slide off. When re-installing it push hard to get the rubber gasket at the top to seal properly. There is a plastic clip on the back of the water container and a mating clip on the WaterPik body and they need to mate with each other when installing, therefore push hard when re-installing. Lastly the cordless battery operation makes this unit very portable and easy to use, and to take with you on travel. I'm very happy with this purchase and I do recommend it to others.

Decent flossing performance but limited lifespan
Performs well flossing, and it’s convenient and compact for travel given it’s battery powered - no need to recharge, just the need to have extra batteries available. However, it failed after 2.5 years of relatively infrequent use (travel only), and despite periodic rinsing it with vinegar solution.

easy to use amazing product
what can I say this water pick is amazing. My teeth are so much more cleaner because I’m a type of person that has issues using the floss. This makes it so much easier and since I’ve been using this product, I’ve been getting A’s from the dentist.

Stopped working after 6 weeks of once a day use.
This review is for WaterPik Waterflosser Cordless Express (Model WF-02W/WF-02C). It runs on 3 AAA alkaline batteries. Easy to use. Has a limited 1 year warranty with WaterPik. TIMELINE OF USE: Purchased May 2023. I followed all the instructions. Stored the unit on the bathroom counter. Used it daily at night for 4 weeks. It worked well, and I was pleased with the performance. Then I went away and did not take the unit with me. I returned after 6 weeks and began to use the unit every night. I noticed that the water flow pressure was weaker than before. It got weaker with each use (about a week). Then it shut off while I was using it - the switch was still in the ON position. I thought the batteries might have lost charge. Changed the batteries and put Vaseline around the cover of the battery compartment as per the instructions. The water flow pressure was still weak and the motor seemed weaker as well. I was able to use the unit for about a week after the battery change. Then it shut off while I was using it. I was unable to restart it by toggling the switch.. I removed the batteries and tested them. All 3 batteries (AA Duracell alkaline) were at full charge Nevertheless, I tried another set of 3 new AA Duracell batteries. The unit still did not turn on. I went on the Internet and found that many other people had reported the same issue regarding this unit. Even the Amazon site contains many such reports. Since it was after the 30 day period for Amazon return. I called WaterPik customer service. They said the item was still under their one year limited warranty, and they would send a replacement unit in 10 to 15 days. The caveat is that it will be the same model and the warranty date will remain the say, I.e., 1 year from the purchase date of the original unit. I'll post a f/u if/after I receive the replacement unit and try it. PS: In my opinion, there is definitely a design flaw in this unit. After a period of use, water enters the chamber containing the motor which then stops working. Many users have experienced this problem and made Amazon and Waterpik aware of it.
