Flea-Free Pure Organic Food Supplement and Natural Pet Products , 128 Ounce

Works great. Dogs are not on any other flea preventative and yet with this product we have not found a single flea on our dogs ever since we started using it. So much better than using internally administered pills or topically applied flea prevention. Feel it is so much healthier for the dogs than the prescribed flea treatments. The dogs don't seem to mind it on their dog food either. Smells slightly garlic-like. Two table spoons on each bowl of dog food for our 157 pound dog. So, the 128 ounce jug lasts a long time. It is expensive for the jog, but well worth it. Buy the small jug and try it first to make sure your dog doesn't mind it on his/her food. Vets will tell you there is no proven data that any of the constituents in this product will kill fleas. Probably true. It isn't designed to "kill" fleas. It is designed to keep the fleas off of your dog in the first place and it does that very well. Stop poisoning your dog with chemicals and use this product. Our large dogs seem to just plain feel better since they are off of the prescribed flea preventative also. You still should however, get your dog the heart worm preventative treatments from your veterinarian, as this product may not prevent heart worms.

My dogs have been on this for a year and a half. No fleas or ticks. We don't live in a high tick area, but we do travel to a local forest from time to time. The most impressive story I have heard, though, is a member of a Facebook group I am in. The guy has 40 acres in the forest. They went for a week this summer, twice. Every day the family had to de-tick themselves every night. The long-haired dog had none, not even one. He put it on the food in the top end of the dose range. I put it in water so my dogs and cats get it. I am also using it for our outside cat who comes into the garage for nights in her water. It also has assisted my female in prevention of urinary tract infections as it has apple cider vinegar. Good product.

This is a good product for preventing an increase in the insect population without poisoning your pet as it blocks the chemical in the animal's blood that insects need to reproduce. However, you do need an external insect repellent to keep them from attempting to set up housekeeping and/or biting your pet. My Schnauzer developed flea dermatitis from flea bites so I am now using an insect repellent with cedar oil (haven't seen any fleas lately and kills mosquito larvae in water almost immediately), but sparingly because of his allergies, and food-grade diatomateous earth to prevent intestinal worms from food or mosquito bites. You still need regular yearly vet examines to make sure your pet does not have heartworms.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would do it gladly. My dogs are full of fleas after using this twice per month for over a month.

It took at least one month before I noticed a substancial reduction in fleas on my dog. Needless to say, you must give the product time to build up in your dog's system and be dilligent in using it with each bowl of water. A little goes a long way so I would recommend buying the large jug, and then you won't need to order it as often. I do plan to continue use of this product.

although i gave this to my dogs all winter, and despite the fact i continue to do so, i have already found live ticks stuck on my dogs.:(

My pet got me started on this product and I no longer scratch or itch! And I haven't seen a flea on me since ... Wait wait... I got my PET hooked on this about a year ago. My dog is more relaxed, less stressed and literally no more Fleas!!! Highly recommend

I have used this product to prevent fleas for years it's great stuff! Worked when the chemical meds didn't.
