We used these for melted butter. They are beautiful.Two issues. The butter got very hot over time and bubbled. We had to blow the candles out. Next was a big error. We lit the candles to warm up the ceramic holder. Leaving it too long we heard a big pop only to find out the ceramic pot exploded and cracked in half. So clearly DO NOT PREHEAT.Ultimately since I purchased three sets I had an extra one. We really ended up loving these.The instructions should say do not preheat. Our error of course.

Under priced. They could sale these for more and would be worth it. The ceramic bowls are top notch, not cheap by any means. Found the refill candles for $ 1 at Walmart (PACK OF 50 AT THAT). Will this melt cold butter, maybe after 10 mins. This product was good for keeping my butter warm after I microwaved it when eating snow crab legs. I placed a half dollar coin over the candle hole and placed the candle on top of the half dollar to get it closer to the bowl, it melted cold butter in 5 mins and kept the butter hot, not warm for my entire meal.

I was trying to buy these for months. They were always sold out. The moment I would check to see if they were available for purchase I would try to buy a set and before I could check them out they were already sold. Very happy with them. Would recommend over all the other ones out there.

The butter warmers worked out great for Lobster and Grab Leg's. The only thing I did not like about these butter warmers is they are to close to the candles so the butter tends to "pop" as it get's warmer. So be careful. Other than that they work great! Have used them several times already.

I use them to keep my butter warm while eating crabs these are perfect and butter stays hot

I like them I just wish it was a lot bigger but it keeps my butter hot it does what it says, it’s just small.

I used these for oil diffusing instead of butter warmers. The water last as long as my candle burns without having to refill like traditional oil diffusers. I get about 4 hours of continuous essential oil fragrance as well as humidity during the dry winter heater season.

My husband and I love crab, and occasionally we spring for a package from Alaska. Having the ability to keep the butter hot made all the difference! We love these. Plan on getting a couple more in case we have guests.

Needs more convenient and longer lasting heat source.
