This is my new favorite hot sauce. After Sriracha had sourcing troubles we had to try several brands to find a suitable replacement and this is the best! It's spicy, garlicky and truly delicious!

Best sauce kind of sweet

I wanted to try something a little different, after my recent affair with sriracha came to a close. I'm a fan of spicy, ferment-y things and figured I'd give this a go. This definitely has that nice garlicky, fermented note that a lot of sriracha lacks, giving it a bit more depth. The consistency is also thicker, more similar to ketchup than a paste - not thin enough to run, but not thick enough where it resists mixing with liquids. Fantastic on shrimp, stir fried noodles, or even on a bagel with some cream cheese. To me, this is perhaps slightly spicier than sriracha, but I'd still rate it as mild. YMMV. Minus one star for the price - I'll have to check a local market for a deal.

Bought this sauce to use since my regular Korean sauce is getting hard to find even on Amazon. There's a two year expiration date on the product and one year has passed since the manufacture date but with a year left that's not a problem. This sauce is a little sweeter than the Korean brand I was using but still a good flavor. Heat level has a little kick but not over bearing. Will buy again.

Tried forever to find an authentic flavored one without unhealthy ingredients but finally did! Perfect medley of flavor and spice. Even used it in a chicken mole recipe I made up split second and it came out surprisingly amazing. Have put it on top of soups and other experiments like adding to hummus with carrots and other dishes I never would have thought for it, really is such a versatile sauce!!! I have so little time to cook I just kinda throw ingredients together at random and this is now a staple in most my meals! A few examples attached . ❤️‍🔥😋 and very decent size for cost! Fairly large bottle so even with my excessive usage somehow I still haven’t run out! And I finally can stop bugging my favorite pho restaurant for extra on every order 🤣

I recently tried Chin-Su, and I must say, it's a flavor explosion in a bottle. The moment it hits your taste buds, you're greeted with a rush of heat, but it's not just about the spice. The complex blend of peppers, spices, and other ingredients creates a symphony of flavors that dance on your tongue. It's not overly vinegary or sweet, which allows the natural heat and flavor to shine through. I highly recommend Chin-Su!

Update: Chin-Su reached out regarding my original comment and offered to make it right by refunding my purchase. I appreciate their customer service and openness to my review. I bought this based on a recommendation from a cooking tik toker that I like. I was excited to try, and the flavor and texture isn’t what I expect with tuong ut. It was too sweet, not spicy enough for what I’m used to. Ketchup-like, but not in a good way. I didn’t notice initially, but it says “artificial flavorings” on the label, and contains yellow and red dyes. If I had known, I probably wouldn’t have purchased. Next time, I’ll just buy Huy Fong.
