BOSU NexGen Pro

The first one I ordered didn’t hold air. It was flat by morning, every time we re-inflated it. Amazon was great about the return. I debated whether to order a replacement or get a refund, worried that the new design was faulty. I went with a replacement and am GLAD I did! The new one arrived 2 days after the old one was returned and we’ve had it a week with no re-inflation required. PROS - The ridges make this stable to stand on. I’ve been collecting YOUTUBE videos for BOSU workouts. Originally, we bought this for balance as we are getting up there in years and have no interest in going to rehab with a broken anything. Balance does decline with age. It is GREAT for balance. You can create more challenge by flipping it upside down, for a rock-n-roll surface. pretty sure this won’t be happening here, as the dome top is challenging enough! I was surprised as the versatility of the BOSU. It is great for: 1) Balance 2). Ab work 3). Leg work 4) Booty 5). Heart health/high intensity workout My personal favorites are PILATES with the BOSU. It is (almost) fun, or in the least, inspires me to do a great workout. Really, it combines the benefits of so many different pieces of equipment in one exercise piece. We used a bicycle tire inflator, as the thingy that came with was subpar. Also, the first time my husband tried to inflate, the mouth fell out loose and had to be retrieved with tweezers, but all is well. Just watch out for that. CONS - I have to put a blanket or towel over it when standing barefoot or putting my hands or body on it, because the ridges are hard and uncomfortable to bare skin or yoga pants. The towel solves the problem Use extreme caution when flipping upside down and trying to stand on it, as it is REALLY hard, and I am cautious about breaking bones from a fall. I used a long dowel to counter balance, but still found it too hard. I am super glad I purchased, and happy I went with the New Generation model, as it wasn’t much more than the older model and really is MUCH improved in durability and quality. Great home workout gadget.

I recently expanded my home gym, and I am very happy that I added this Bosu balance trainer to my collection! I have always enjoyed using Bosu balance trainers at the gym, and it is just as enjoyable to use at home. It is very quick and easy to setup, and it is pretty easy to store to keep it out of the way. It provides for a very good variety of challenging exercises, and I have found it very useful to help stabilize and strengthen my muscles as I continue with physical therapy for my knee. The extra grip on the ball and the patterns splitting the ball into quarters was a really great addition, and it makes it a lot easier for me to make sure that I am using the correct portion of the ball during every exercise. For anybody looking to add some variety and challenge to their workouts, I would highly recommend this Bosu balance trainer!

This arrived in a previously opened box. It had missing and broken parts. I contacted BOSU, and they send me replacement parts immediately. Great customer service. I use it for rehab before & after knee surgery. I am very pleased with the quality, functionality and durability while balance training. This is grippier than standard BOSU ball, which makes is easier for me to balance and not slip.

I love the BOSU ball, it is high quality, some are not. It's a great addition to my exercise routine. I am 66 years old and it's great for maintaining balance.

I was so happy to buy an American made product. I shows up, the item itself is a manufacturing work of art. I couldn't be happier with it. Its gorgeous. The fact that the sent pump is the item purchasing went with is f'ng embarrassing. The purchaser that decided this is the one that 1.) Is best for the job 2.)acceptable as representative of Bosu is downright shameful. Both the purchaser and the executive that they answer too need to be unceremoniously shown the door. Don't even let them pack up their desk. Have someone throw it on their front lawn as they drive by at 50 mphs. Thats the level of disrespect they've shown the customer with that item.

I've used the Bosu in the past, both in the gym and for various PT. I decided to purchase one for my own use, for home exercise and fitness and to rehab a torn meniscus after knee surgery. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, it was easy to inflate and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It's very sturdy and I've had no problems with it staying inflated, as I've been using it for almost a month with no issues whatsoever. And while I have used the website for different videos, I'm also finding a lot of helpful tips from the Bosu Instagram page, so lots of great resources!

After 3 months of PT for a reconstructed foot and ankle, I’m happy to have my very own BOSU. Nothing matches it for building back my balance. I wish I could give it a 5 but the pump is just pathetic. I was only able to inflate to 7 inches before it became a stalemate of how much air you lose on the upstroke and how much goes in on the downstroke. I gave up after about 15 minutes and went to my air compressor. Done in seconds. But hey the pump says “made in America.” That might make some people happy but I’m not sure I would advertise that piece of garbage as made in anywhere.

商品到着時から、この部分だけ何故か隙間があった。 ただ空気を入れてみると、空気の抜けはなかったので、少し隙間が出来たりする仕様だと思い1カ月ほど使用。 案の定、この隙間があった部分のチューブ部分から穴があき、空気が抜けるようになった。

I have always wanted the BOSU balance trainer cause I heard and seen so many good reviews on it. Am looking forward to taking my workouts to a whole new level. Thanks BOSU!

Always wanted a Bosu ball! Excellent quality, very sturdy made in the USA! Tons of exercise videos on YouTube. Even has a three warranty. Use it at my sit stand desk.
