The product is great, and easily scratches early on. However, as time passes, the scratch-off becomes more and more permanent and doesn't scratch off. unless you can knock off all the scratch points quickly, the scratching becomes very difficult.

I bought four of them, the one pictured above is being used for our team of salespeople, as we take on new business we will scratch off the state and each salesperson will pin the location with the pin of their color (i ordered extra pins) I have one for myself at home that i will do with my children in a similar way, I bought a cheap corkboard to use as a frame, I am super impressed with this thing, I might buy more before christmas for other friends

I thought these looked fun so I ordered a US map for myself. It arrived fast and appears to be a good quality. The material does have a strong chemical smell at first so you may want to let it air out a bit. So far no issues with the scratch off surface or guitar pick provided for scratching. All I need is a frame and some airfare to a somewhere new.

The map is super cool to get/give as a gift. I gave it to my husband as a wedding gift so we would be able to track our travels together. It is pretty easy to use, it comes with the scratcher and a cloth to wipe off the crumps. It is kind of difficult to get all of the state off and can even scratch too much and leave a permeant mark on the map.

Great product and so fun! I've wanted to keep track of where my S/O and I have traveled and never found the right thing. If you're looking like I was, here it is! Item came a little scratched in one spot, but other than that it's perfect!

I was so excited to get this map especially the USA map as I plan on traveling across country. When I received the maps and opened them the World map was perfect. My USA map was scratched all over the top above USA and parts of the middle of USA. Very disappointed.

I purchased this map for my 8-year old great-nephew following a conversation about how many states he had visited on family vacations. He had a difficult time remembering the locations and ended up asking for help from his Mom/my niece. I researched various maps appropriate for an 8-year old that would be interactive and durable enough for future trips. He was so excited to receive the map and promptly put it on the wall in his room. He loved to scratch off each state visited and tell me stories about each one. This was a "win" for a favorite great-aunt!
