I have gotten compliments on these. Although I see by the photos in the reviews that this item comes in other color tones and some people complained about them, I can't imagine why because I am very happy with the colors, and the material. It is burgundy, and not all seem to be the same as some have also a grey tone in the background, and some have a grayish blue green in the background, but they are essentially the same, and I like it.Its a fairly thin cotton, but its sturdy and strong enough for regular, relatively gentle use, and washes just fine in cold water, gentle setting, and it can go in the dryer, but it should be removed promptly. The ends tend to curl up after going through the dryer, but they can be ironed down, or just accepted as it is, as one prefers. They can be washed often to keep them fresh, gently, and the item is pleasant to live with. It doesn't fade, or fray, or cause any trouble with use. I'm quite happy with it, and I'd recommend the purchase.

Gorgeous, great colors, looks like the picture! I have no complaints. Yes, there is a fresh ink smell that lingers for about a day after opening (I just aired it out before putting it in my room, left my window open, and sprayed some febreeze on it and it was fine) but it's honestly not that terrible and it goes away. If you look at it closely you can also see some bleeding out of the black lines but it's not noticeable from far and I really don't expect perfection from a $10 tapestry. I have no complaints! Definitely glad I bought it!

Such a beautiful piece of art work! I love the colors and the size of the tapestry. The smell was not as strong as I inticipated, but nothing that a candle and a little air freshener couldn't fix. It came within a week of me purchasing it and it's absolutely great. I would buy another if I had room for it!

I've had this for years and it's stood up to multiple washing/drying with very very minimal fading (if any). The pattern is more prominent on one side than the other.

Got this for my daughter's college apartment and she really likes it. The colors were more muted than the product picture, but she said she liked what she got more than what was shown in the picture anyway. The size was great, and I feel the quality was good for what she wanted it for, which was to hang behind her bed on a wall. I can't say how well it holds up to washing, because, college + teenage girl = probably not been washed. When she's finished with it, I can see making it into some pillow covers.

I always look for hand-woven spreads like this one that have the design printed onto the fabric.Then I can use the reverse side to create a softer look in my massage space. Used on top of asheet it's not bulky, but still gives respectful draping coverage. The 100% cotton feels great!I buy sizes that I can use a hot washer and hot dryer, expecting them to shrink. This one wasa bit small, but has a lovely design, and I'm quite happy with it.

Just because it is cheap doesn't mean it is good. I recieved this in the mail today and I was immediately disappointed.1. None of the colors are inside the lines, it looks like a toddler colored it in.2. The stitching is HORRIBLE. Many loose ends and there are even some random lines stitched over the picture in the middle of the tapestry.3.There were already stains on it when I took it out of the package.It is a cute design but executed horribly. Thankfully I am just hanging it outside as a view blocker from the road adjacent to us so it won't matter too much. However if you wanted to use this for any other purpose I would stay away from this item, there are plenty of other tapestries of actual good quality out there.

I love this thing!You definitely get what you paid for tho - the edges aren't completely straight, and its not as big as I would prefer, but it still works great. You can't even tell about the edges because of the way it drapes on the wall. Its a very thin material, which is great because I was able to hold it up with just tape and not puncture my walls. I read some comments before buying it about a strange smell, which I did notice when I first opened the package. But this seemed to just be because it was new, and I expect it to go away over time. It isn't strong enough to bother me. Its like when you buy a new shirt and don't wash it before you wear it - you notice it smells new but its not a big deal. I like it so much better than any of the ones at UO and I saved a lot of money!

Cela fait 2 ans que j'ai cette décoration murale, elle se marie très bien avec des guirlandes lumineuses dans une chambre. La couleur tient très bien au lavage. Cependant elle a une odeur qui ne veut pas s'en aller...Je suis quand même très satisfaite de mon achat et je vous le recommande pour changer totalement l'ambiance d'une pièce!

Have it hanging on my wall. It looks great. Not soft material but perfect for my intended purpose.

The item is exactly as described. The fabric is soft thick good-quality cotton. It washed and dried nice with no wrinkles or shrinking, but the colors did fade a tiny bit. It is still excellent value and I'll order this item again. I'm using this at the cottage and honestly, I can't beat this price for cotton. So I'm giving it full stars.
