This made an excellent disconnect for our new mini split a/c unit. Well made and good quality.

Exactly What I Needed
I had trouble finding this switch even from local electric supply houses. This is perfect for shutting off any electrical device rated between 40 and 60 amps that is fused at the panel.

Check your line in wire size
Well constructed, solid with knock-outs where they are most useful. Con.... The line lug holes are small, barely can get a #8 stranded coppper in it, forget about a #6 Aluminum or Copper. So if your line in wire is bigger than #8 stranded copper you will have to splice a smaller pig tail into the line in to get it in the lug orrifice.

Worked as it should
I ordered the wrong amperage as I used this for a water heater disconnect. I only needed a 30 amp box but I was able to switch the 60 amp breaker for a 30 amp breaker and it worked just fine.
