A little hard to orient these perfectly vertically even with a press. But they are very cheap and it is possible. I have found these useful in early non-load-bearing 3D printed prototypes where I don’t want to throw down the 30cents or more per fitting of better quality inserts.A slight chamfer to the exterior of one side would make these infinitely easier to seat properly. Other brands I can get to seat straight by hand with just an old soldering iron.

The best way I have found to install these is with a soldering iron. If you are installing these in a blind hole you might have to cut the tip down to install them. These worked great for me but I have only used them in pla and I imagine they would work just as well in petgnor abs.

These are great! I was looking for small threaded inserts for a custom keyboard case. I have had no issues with the threaded inserts cracking or having difficulty screwing like I have with other cheap inserts. Highly recommend.

These are not heavy duty but for small projects they get the job done. Much better at resisting tear-out than torque.

I've used a couple of these for my 3d printed items and they work great. I have been making the holes 0.5mm smaller than the biggest diameter of these inserts and that method seems to work well. very handy.
