Can someone tell me about how large the tablets are and if they seem to be easy to chew and/or crush if need be?

The tablets are about 1/4 inch thick and slightly more than a 1/2 in diameter. The tablets are easy to chew for my dog (small 14 lbs.) and are scored so they can easily be broken in half with your fingers. They can be crushed but my dog eats them as they are. The vet gave a quantity for my dog of just over 1000 mg so he takes 1 and a 1/2 tablets and loves them. If they don't like them that much crushing them in food would be easy. My dog has had no crystals in the urine since he starting taking the tablets. They are much cheaper than the potassium citrate I got with a prescription from the drug store.

is it organic and does it come from China?

I've been using this for my elderly schnauzer to lower PH levels dues to bladder stones. I mix it into his good and he eats it without any issue (unlike using liquid form potassium citrate). I cannot see that it is organically produced, but it is made in USA, in FDA and USDA approved facility following good manufacturing practice guidelines. I can only tell you that it has helped my dog.Hope this helps

What are all the ingredients

Active Ingredients are as follows: 300 mg Potassium Citrate, 50 mg Cranberry Extract, 423 mg Essential Fatty Acids. Inactive Ingredients are as follows: Calcium Phosphate, Choline Chloride, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Marine Lipid Concentrates, Natural Chicken Flavor, Silicone Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Sucrose, Vegetable Oil and Whey. My Schnauzer had stones and he must take this to prevent them again. He loves it and he has been clean of stones in his urinary tract for 5 years now and I highly recommend it as my Vet did also.

How long does it take to raise the pH of the urine once you start using this product?

I don't know specific time. Just the next visit to the Vet, he could feel no stones upon examination. I have two Papillions, the male had five bladder stones removed in surgery, the female 4 a year before. I faithfully do 1 1/2 scoops per day, as my vet directed. They are also on prescription dog food, expensive, but cheaper than surgery.

Additive for food

I have a 6 yr old dachshund that unfortunately makes calcium oxalate bladder stones. We combine the granules with Science Diet Chicken & Barley adult wet food + water in his bowl and he’s not producing stones any longer. It does make him urinate more frequently which is needed to flush his system from stones forming. As far as I can tell it is high quality and works as expected. And my picky dog must love the smell and taste of it because he has never turned it down.

K-Plus great supplement

I am not 100% sure that K-Plus helps to minimize the number of UTI for my Moltipoo but since I started to add it to her diet, she has had fewer incidents

My dog will eat this

I did 4 stars because we just started on this. My dog is prone to bladder stones and had a surgery 2 years ago to remove them. Since th n he has been on a special dog food from the vet to prevent them. The kibble is 58 a month so my daughter did research. This has the same ingredient as the kibble. My dog likes it. One small scoop in his food. I do it every other day. So far it seems his urine flow is a lot better . I do recommend this

These were the solution for us

My senior dog recently passed, but these relieved her UTI’s and kept her bladder stones away (in conjunction with Hill’s prescription C/D food) for 5 years. Before the potassium citrate, the prescription food alone had stopped doing the trick. These were given at my amazing vet’s recommendation.

Save yourself some$$$

My pup has to take potassium the rest of her life and this is half the price of the pills the Vet sells. I mix with a little water and feed it to her. She licks it right up.
