Platinum Fountain Pen Dye-based Ink Cartridge - Blue Black - Pack of 10

Perfect for my Platinum Prefounte. Great color.

I had a small pile of these Platinum Blue-Black cartridges that came with some other Platinum pens I had bought. They sat in a drawer until I got a deal on a customer-return Platinum Curidas pen without the converter for bottled inks. Lacking anything else onhand I put one of the carts in the Curidas. I really like the ink - combined with the Curidas' EF nib, Platinum BB works well on even the crummiest paper, and the color is even pretty nice for a "manufacturer default" ink. Water resistance is a definite plus. I did end up buying a converter for the Curidas, but I also purchased a pack of these cartridges for use with this pen. It's a very nice utilitarian ink that suits the utilitarian style of the Curidas well.

I like the color and how the dye dries pretty quickly. Decent price for what you get and easy change over.

The ink is nice, not as dark as I was hoping and the metal ball seems to keep getting in the way of ink dispersal. After figuring out that that was the issue things have gone swimmingly. I have had the ball issue with two separate pens, so I'm sure it's not the pen.

No problems with the ink. Writes smoothly. The blue/black is kind of dark but I like it.

Good color and flow

Platinum ink is relatively inexpensive. It dries quickly on good paper. This color is nice and dark.
