My cat was sick, refusing to eat, and losing weight. Vet prescribed some food, and he would only eat tiny amounts. I tried this food and he ate it without needing encouragement. He still eats small amounts but he will eat it several times a day. I also started him on blue buffalo wilderness kitten food for extra calories which he will also eat several times a day. ( I only mention that in case it might help someone else is trying to add weight to an ill pet)

Our cat loves this food. I tried to introduce it slowly by mixing it with current food as recommended, but she picked through the bowl to get these nuggets. Yes--she is silly, and equally adorable, so we just made the switch to Purina One 100%. This food seems to be easier for her to digest. She was having issues passing stool and a few times, went on the floor outside her box. She's more "regular" and her energy and mood have improved. She rarely vomited--so, I can't speak to that being better---her issue was the other end. This seems much better with this food. If your kitty/cat is having digestive issues, I recommend giving this food a try.

Not sure why folks think they can immediately feed a new food to their cats when they should slowly transition over from a prior food to a new one. Or else.you may have vomiting and digestive tract issues (which rarely -- but can lead to death).Grain-free, and more like the diet required by cats who are obligate carnivores. My cat LOVES the fish True Instinct but not the chicken.Hard to find in stores, but always available on Amazon.

The only commercial food I could find, and I spent hours trying to find one, that doesn’t have any (name your animal) by products. Only potential downside is it’s made for adult cats. The minimum protein is only 30% and kittens need about 40%, at least that’s what I’ve read. Will check with my vet to see if adding some beef liver or chicken organs would improve the protein level. It’s only the minimum % so there be a higher level. The manufacturers only need to meet the minimum requirements of nutrition. Nothing says they need to disclose higher % amountsEven though it’s for an adult cat my 2 girls are doing fine. Of course the vet may see it in another light. Will just have to wait.There are two flavors Chicken or Whitefish. My girls seem to prefer the chicken flavor so I’m feeding a couple of feral cats hanging around, and in my garage the whitefish. It’s just too cold here to survive without food, water, and somewhere out of the weather. The are adults and are cleaning the food bowl almost to the bottom of it. So tame house kittens and 2(?) feral cats agree this is good food.I’ll find out after Christmas if my indoor kittens need a protein supplement or anything else, but for now my ladies get in my way while trying to read or watch a movie when they think there isn’t enough food in their bowl. They lie like a rug since I always keep the bowl full. Add a bit of canned food as a topper from another provider so there won’t be any complications from kibble.Haven’t tasted it myself so can’t comment on the taste but my kittens seem to like it…a lot!I recommend this kibble for more reasons than the by-products issue. The girls like it and are healthy and happy. Can’t ask for much more.

Cats love it, was affordable not high and unavailable

My cats love this, never vomit. NOW ITS DISCONTINUED. They don't like the new Purina one high protein in the turquoise bag with blue writing. Won't touch it.

My cat really does like this food, and it is less expensive on Amazon than at the grocery store!
