This is THE sun hat I've been looking for. Hopefully I can save a few other people hours hunting on the internet. The brim is wide enough to cast lots of shade on my face on a hot day, but not so wide that it will act like a sail on a windy day. The brim is pretty stiff, not floppy. I chose dark blue which is actually navy, so its a useful colour to wear on holidays as well as for walking and gardening. Its not plastered with gimmicky logos or 'features'...the simpler the better for me. It fits my big head. None of the ladies hats fitted comfortably, some wouldn't fit at all. It doesn't look ridiculous on my face as lots of other hats do. With the vented section my head stays cool. And the chin strap keeps it in place when I'm gardening. Its very lightweight and would be good on camping holidays or in a day-sack. It was cheaper than many other options I looked at. At last, the hunt for the perfect sun hat is over!

In these exceptional hot and sunny days we have been having this is a good hat when out (sports event etc.) to help keep from burning as the brim ensures coverage to the neck as well as the face, throat and top part of the chest. Wearing a hat can be hot (this does have ventilation areas) and although this polyester hat is reasonably light still it’s warm but it’s better than getting sunstroke! It’s pretty comfortable to wear, you can adjust fit to head (not sure how effective it is) and there is an adjustable cord which goes under the chin - allows the hat to hang so as not to drop/fall off when not wearing.

I liked the strap plastic thing that moves easily to tighter or slacker, like the things you have on your coat hood to make it fit but flatter and lighter and actually easier to use. A toggle. My hat is a nice light green with the airy lacey strip in the top of the hat connected to the brim. Its a good brim too and fits on easily. Very useful for the garden and greenhouse as it wont slip off. Great stuff. Arrived quickly. I would buy here again. Bought during Covid crisis 2020. It was a fair price too.

I hate it, it was way too big on my head and looked huge, floppy and ridiculous. However, my husband loves it. It fits him perfectly, gives him lots of protection from the wide brim and is cool due to the air vents. It is his go to summer hat now.

Superb and very lightweight. Purchased for gardening jobs and doesn’t disappoint and no sunburned neck. I’m a 58cm hat normally and this fitted comfortably as I don’t like them tight fitting. Cannot comment on how it will be after a few months but seems a good purchase to me

The Brim of the hat is too wide and rigid, so it will have odd folds in it The Brim is reasonably thick and should offer some shade from Sunlight. I like the mesh venting in the Crown, but feel that the overall thickness of the Crown is very thin being Polyester, and I doubt it is UFP50 and offer much protection from UV rays. I like the draw cord preventing the hat from blowing away + the pullcord at the back of the Crown allowing the hat to fit the majority of head sizes. Some nice features in this hat, but I wouldn't feel confident wearing it to protect me from UV rays. I'd advise wearing sunblock on your head, to be safe.

My only quibble with this is that it's perhaps a little small and snug - otherwise the colour is lovely, material is nice, good to have the cooler mesh in places and the toggle keeps it on well in windy conditions (we live by the coast). If you have a larger than average head it may be too small, but otherwise it's great!

Well made and a good shape that will pack for holidays. Needed some protection from strong sunlight when down the allotment for hours on end to prevent further sun damage. This hat is light and comfortable. Delighted with this purchase.
