If you want sticky rice, this is it. Very sticky, almost glutinous once cooked. Will stick to everything. Good quality and tasty.

Love this rice! Was first introduced to it through wonderful friends from Laos. This rice is their traditional daily "bread" and they buy it by the 50lb bag. The rice is cooked in a traditional kettle with basket steamer. The kettle and basket are used together in preparation. The rice is rinsed and soaked in the kettle in cold water for 24 hours. It is important to soak and rinse the rice to achieve the right texture after steaming. Rice is drained with the basket, and remains in the basket and placed back into the kettle pot for steaming. Cover the rice in the basket with a lid for best results. Steam 15 minutes on one side, remove lid, carefully take basket out and the round gluten oyster ball of rice will allow you to toss it, and roll it over. Steam another 15 minutes. After rice appears clear and no longer bright white, lift out and cool rice on cheese cloth. It's very sticky and best served right away with dipping sauces, veggies, meats of any kind. It stores in a different style basket and can be re-steamed, once maybe twice.

The sweetness in the taste of the rice is delicious..The texture of the rice is perfect. I have tried other brands, Three Ladies Rice is great quality of rice for Sushi or eating a bowl of rice alone.

This is the best brand for rice just my personal opinion never had any issues works well in my race cooker and the seller has been easy to work with never had an issue in the past couple years that I’ve been using them.
