Little People Musical Zoo Train

My own kids loved the smaller wooden Little People and the newer versions are still great toys! This is a cute zoo train with a Little People driver, tiger, and tall giraffe, bigger than expected. The train whistle toots and plays a fun song, music only, when a figure is pressed in the driver's seat. The train makes the figures spin and see-saw when the child rolls it. No small parts that could be a choking hazard. It comes with a battery installed so it is ready to play the sounds. I think the other actions would work without the battery. The spinning and see-saw actions are just like those of the very similar Little People Christmas Train which I almost bought instead, but I wanted one for year-round play. (The F-P Nativity set is a special Christmas toy!) The zoo train was almost out of stock when I ordered it for $32, but now it's back in stock with a price increase from a different seller. I hope it and the similar Christmas train aren't being discontinued. Very cute and sturdy train and figures that almost any toddler or young child would love.

Over the years, we've been buying Little People toys and I couldn't pass up the zoo train. We opened it up as soon as it arrived. It is very interactive with a spinning animal as well as a see saw component. The driver speaks and sings when pressed into his seat. As with most Little People products we were able to substitute other animals and people into the seats on the train. All of my kids have played with it nonstop from age 1 and up and the toy is in perfect condition. The train plays music and animal noises and the cars hold animals and move as the child pushes the little train along. It's such a cute toy. Very fun and entertaining!

I picked this out for my neice's first birthday. It is very cute and has differnt parts to play with, but not so many that they are hard to keep track of. My neice enjoyed the sounds and pushing it around. She also enjoyed the animals that came with it and was able to carry them around and "gnaw" on them. At her birthday party, though, it actually first caught the eye of a three year old boy. He enjoyed playing with it as well. I was happy to see this as it seems it is a toy my neice will be able to enjoy for a few years.

My 15 month old daughter LOVES this toy! She's been very interested in toys with wheels lately, when we go to play spaces, so I wannted to get her one for home. She can say "choo choo" and knows what a train is, so I thought she might be excited to have one. I was right. This one is perfect! She loves the little figures and interchanging them on the posts, hooking and unhooking the train cars, pushing the button for the music, seeing what other little objects fit in the train and zooming it around. I can tell this one will last for years and keep her interest.

Got this for my three year old great niece for Christmas! She loves trains and animals, perfect for her. Had to open the package cause she could not wait to play with it. Still playing with it

Best toy this Christmas. My son (15 mos) loved it immediately. He loves pushing the button on the engine to make it play the song. The song is short and has a circus-y sound but it isn't annoying (and I am easily annoyed by incessant songs...many toys have their batteries removed). We love picking up the tiger and roaring, it is the cutest thing! Great toy at a great price!

The Musical Zoo Train is a Great product! Very sturdy and a lot of fun! As usual, Little People does not disappoint. This little train makes cute music, and rolls easily across the floor. It comes with a person and a couple of beloved animals that kids will have a fun time putting into the train to pull around. It is very generic as far as colors, so will be great for both girls and boys. The swing and teeter totter in the back cars add a fun touch, as the are free moving.

Okay, it's not educational unless you're considering the fine motor development and cause-effect concept for your toddler. It doesn't play a jungle song -- it sounds more like an instrumental version of "Mary Had a Little Lamb". The train does do the traditional "toot toot" sound of a train. The cars and the train snap together sturdily, haven't had them come apart as she plays (yet) but I can see how, if she picks this train up, the cars would fall apart of each other....might want to watch those little toes then. The little figures fit well on the see-saw and the spinner on the cars, and she likes that her other Little People figures are compatible with this toy (we also have the school bus and 2 packs of figures here, and they all fit in the train, even the animals). It's easy to clean -- we had a mishap with yogurt occur -- just wipe it down with a damp cloth or damp paper towel. The volume isn't very loud, so it won't drive anyone nuts (thank goodness, because there doesn't seem to be a volume control). One thing: unlike the other play vehicles of this line, this product doesn't have any phrases for the character in the engineer's seat to say....but my toddler doesn't care, she loves her new choo-choo!

We bought this as a charity gift at Christmas. It’s really cute and looks well made and simple to use. I am often not disappointed with Fisher Price and expect that this case would be the same.

Good toy for my 16 month old. He likes to put the giraffe and tiger that comes with it.

My nieces baby loved this so much that I bought one for one of my other nieces baby.

J'ai commandé ce train pour Noël pour ma fille de 20 mois alors je sais pas si cela va lui plaire mais en tout cas pour ma part je suis contente de cet achat. La qualité est présente et le prix très satisfaisant par rapport en grande surface ou magasins de jouets. Je vous le recommande.
