The author hit the proverbial nail on the head.This could have been over a thousand experiences, yet the author spoke for us all in this piece.Thank you.

When I started reading this book, I immediately "recognized" all the white supremacist characters (white and black), I encountered working as an administrative employee of a large law enforcement department. All the same people I encountered, from White bigots, "go along get along Black coons, non Black and non White people who do whatever is necessary to fit in. Even the tokens. Excellent book, written in a straight forward way.=

This books captures the true experience of being an African American working in civil service, federal employee.

Must read, I finish over night, could not put down.

I love this book. It was hard to put it down once I started reading it. I highly recommend this book.
