I'd resisted buying crimping pliers for years figuring that I could just as easily get by with long nosed pliers. Then I moved up to 60lb crimps and I needed more power. I bought these and it's no exaggeration to say they are a revelation. Crimping is so easy and the shaped crimp is effortlessly secure with no possibility of slippage. They are better on slim crimps, on the heavier crimps they're great and they are super on single strand titanium. All in all, the process of making wire traces has become something of a pleasure. Might need to think about some split ring pliers now, so I can retire that screw driver...
