This has more ummph than the other no-name one I bought. I could feel the difference in the amount of ‘tingling’ when I put my finger into the liquid while it was running. I use this to keep my teeth aligner trays clean and it works much better than many other methods I tried. Even after 3-weeks use on a tray, they look clear and bright.

Great deal, you only need to use half a tablet at a time. They do a great job cleaning my retainer or also would work for aligners. Way better than having to brush it with toothpaste

I had a very long invisalign treatment, fortunately I found the ultrasonic cleaner within the first year or two, and then these tablets from the same company. I'd usually use a half tablet and then 2 cycles, with a little time in between. Kept the aligners clear even when I went to 3 week cycles at the end, or up to 4 weeks between sets. It would of course wear down towards the end of that, but anything below 3 weeks it would look just as clear as the first day. Each set of 4 would last me about an entire year, since I'd occasionally break too much off and have to use an entire tablet. Every other cleaning solution cost a lot more, and most wouldn't clean as well or would damage the aligners over time. With these you can leave the aligners in for hours without worry, the water becomes clear within a half hour or so. Now with the retainers, I find a half tablet doesn't really work well. I've been using the full tablet and 2 cycles, and that seems to be better. I may experiment with 3 sometimes. Eventually I do expect to switch to the powder they also sell, but that's around 2-4x more expensive. Definitely wouldn't do that for the aligners, but the retainers seem to need more cleaning power, even though you only wear them at night. Still even 1 tablet a day gives you a half year with these, so the powder would have to clean much better. I think I did try the powder on the aligners previously, but they had left an aftertaste I didn't like. I suspect with retainers that won't be an issue but I'll only know for sure after I try them for awhile.

I originally purchased the Dental Pod for twice the cost of this iSonic unit. I found the Dental Pod to be underwhelming. I also thought the Dental Pod was cheaply made for a $100 device. I decided to try my luck on this iSonic device and I am glad I did. The first thing you notice when you take it out of the box is how heavy (over 1 lb) and built like a tank this is. The Dental Pod was mostly plastic and weighed 4oz at most. I've been using this daily and can say that it makes a difference. It's by no means "magical" where all discoloration magically disappears, but it is making a noticeable difference. Highly recommended.

Best aligner cleaner out there. Easy to use and since you use only a half tab at a time it lasts a long time. No need to look any further. Highly recommend!
