Amazing quality

This box was opened, I held the plates and then taped the box back to return for my money. The plates were not suitable to even est in, very ridged when I felt it which seems unsafe to eat in as pieces might come off and end up in food. For the price, it is cheap but quality is terrible. The Pound shop have better quality !!

Every parcel that got delivered had one broken plate in it.

I bought these as additional plates to a set of Villeroy&Boch Manufacture Rock crockery that I already have. I think the plates themselves are great - really stylish, they look and feel really nice. Two Stars only because this seller (Amazon EU S.a.r.L.) did not pack the product adequately. I was really lucky that the product came undamaged. No protection for the plates at the bottom of the box, so could easily have got smashed. When I bought the same crockery direct from Villeroy&Boch, the delivery was slower but product was packed much safer.

For some reason the manufacture series are unglazed and therefore horrible to use cutlery on

I really love the look and feel of these plates but my husband does not. We debated back and forth whether we should keep it or not. I love the modern look and the Raw Pottery feel. He feels like it's blah and too rough like food would stain it and it doesn't have a nice feel. So it depends what you're looking for... personally, I think they look really cool

Der V&B Geschirr-Teller aus der Serie Manufacture Rock (Blanc) ist wirklich toll. Etwas rauere Oberfläche dank des Schiefer-Effekt, auch die Haptik ist etwas rauer, dich angenehm. Ich habe die Serie Manufacture Rock Blanc und Manufacture Rock (= schwarze Teller), kann amn SEHR gut kombinieren. Ebenso paar einzelne Stücke von Manufacture Rock Glow (Kupfer), sehr edel, hochwertig und immer anderes gestaltbar. So werde ich lange an diesem PremiumPorzellan meine Freude haben.

They are beautiful but texture makes a bad scraping sound, like scratching on a rock or chalkboard and guests have been honest and said they don’t like to eat off of them because the silver scrapes with each bite. I feel the same and ordered service for eight. I am a fan of Villeroy & Bach, but wish I had never bought this style .
