I was not expecting so few seeds.
This packet contained very few seeds. I was very disappointed. I wasted my money on this considering how few seeds were in the packet.

Tough to germinate
I suspect that the problem is not with the seeds but that gerbera seeds aren't easy to germinate. This cultivar is well-regarded. Probably worth a try. If not, buy the plants--you can get gerberas in big-box stores or even supermarkets such as Trader Joe's.

easy to grow - great germination- make beautiful cut flowers

only 1 out of 10 germinated
I planted the seeds indoors. used a heating mat set to 76F. Used professional seed starting soil. And had poor germination rate (only 1 out of the 10 seeds germinated). Not sure what I did wrong. In comparison, I grew marigolds in a similar way and had about 98 percent germination.
