This book, and any of the Kaffe Fassett books, are some of the most gorgeous books you have ever seen. You can just lose yourself in them. Even if you dont quilt they are beautiful to look at. Put one on your coffee table. The colors and designs are beautiful. He makes the best fabrics. All the quilts are presented in the most beautiful and interesting scenery. Each quilt contains instructions on how to make it, layouts, and there are templates for everything. I have purchased most of the books and enjoy looking at them. I plan on starting another Kaffe quilt soon. I just finished a small one via a special class I took on line and it taught me that you can go crazy with color and design and get out of your comfort zone.

Beautiful quilting books at a great price.

Gorgeous book! Gorgeous quilts! This book has complete directions, patterns, and templates for 19 medallion quilts - all in Kaffe Fassett's signature style! These "frame" quilts are done in the English tradition and are all photographed on location at the Hidcote Manor Garden in England. Most of the patterns included are not very intricate, but they look more complicated due to the busy fabrics. Some of the quilts presented have been in other books by Kaffe Fassett (in different fabrics), but there are new patterns also. Medallion quilts are my favorite style and this book is a real treat! The directions are easy to follow and the quilts are beautiful.

Beautiful photograph of each quilt. The book calls out the names of each fabric as well as the amount of fabric needed for each. I have not attempted build a quilt from the book yet. There are templates, patchwork know-how, and a glossary of terms at the back of the book. As an intermediate quilter I think he has provided all the info I need to build one of these beautiful quilts!

This is such a great book if you are looking into quilting with Kaffe fabrics. It has so many great patterns that introduce you to his patterns. I have made a few of them so far and once you get his style; he is a lot of fun to sew with.

I have several of Kaffe Fassett’s books, and I love them all. The photos of the quilts on location are gorgeous, the patterns are fantastic, and the directions are very clear.

I have almost all of Kaffe Fassett's books. This book will add nicely to my collection. The book arrived promptly, was packaged well and was in perfect condition.
