This fabric has fabulous colors but even mor importantly is printed on high quality fabric. Backing fabrics are usually a notch down from quilting fabrics., either somewhat thin or a looser weave. I was very impressed with how vibrant the colors were and the thread count of this fabric. It has a beautiful feeling and can easily be used on the front or for binding too, in my opinion. You will love it!

So silky feeling and beautiful! I backed my quilt with it and love it!

Although advertised as authentic Kaffe Fassett fabric, what I received was not. The quality of the fabric was inferior, the design was larger than the original, and most tellingly, the selvage was recognizably NOT from the Kaffe Fassett brand. Unfortunately, this fabric needed to be used for a fundraising quilt that had a short deadline, so I did not have the option of returning this fabric and buying alternate material. I was very disappointed.

I ordered 3 yards continuous fabric. I received 3 (1 yard) cuts. This is 108 inch wide and for a quilt backing.

Material was listed as red but it is actually orange.
