Does the job
Great value for money this is the least expensive I found I’ve been looking for a while and every single one I’ve seen are way ridiculously expensive. the only downside of this one is that it’s not as sturdy , if you shake it too strong it will fall some people told me that I can glue the parts maybe that will fix the shakiness ,but you know for the price ,and if you have a safe place to put the sword on, then it does the job and looks nice enough

thinking that it was better than paying for shipping fees
My mother and I are black belts, and we were recently introduced to sword work. As I Christmas gift, I decided to shop around on Amazon and purchase a few bokkens. As it turns out, I didn’t have thirty-five dollars worth of goodies in my cart, so I went on the prowl for something cheap to add. I decided that a sword stand would be an appropriate addition, so I added this item to my cart, thinking that it was better than paying for shipping fees, and ultimately—it was only a few bucks, even if it turned out to be unusable. Upon receiving my package today, I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The stand came in three neatly blackened pieces—two legs, and the center axel. My pieces came undamaged and as a complete set. To assemble, I simply had to slide the legs onto the center axel, and it was ready to go. I even tested it out by placing the bokken (for reference; aprox. 40 inches, heavy wood (about 1.5 lbs) on it. It held the weight fine and was not toppled by the bokken. Frankly, this thing looks nice. Very clean and efficient. Minimal, but that’s all you really need (especially if you’re displaying an already decorated, sheathed katana). I got it for cheap, but it does not give the impression of cheapness. I recommend it, and I will be buying a second one.

Functional, but...
Pros: Good price, looks nice on display, sturdy Cons: Rough edges, may scuff itself or damage sword Overall: Functional, great for the price This looks very nice and was a decent price. It's a cheap, easy stand to display your sword. During assembly, the part where it fits together is very tight and will most likely rub off some of the paint on itself, which will be noticeable if you wiggle it too much when you're connecting the pieces. Go slow and be careful so it doesn't become damaged. Also, the part where the sword rests has a rough finish, so anything but the most gentle placement may damage the sword. I fixed this with some black electrical tape trimmed to size, which I highly recommend if you plan on removing the sword at all.

Simple Stand
So I had never owned a sword before going to a flea market, seeing one and deciding it was something I wanted. When I got home, I realized that I had nothing to put it on to display it. That is where this stand comes in. It took a few days, but after looking I chose this simple black stand rather then some of the more expensive options. This stand arrived quickly, packaging was perfect to provide protection. It looks great holding my one sword. Very simple, but it does the job well.

Solidly built, good quality
Wood material has sharp edges, I had to lightly file one slot to have holder fit into base. Nice tight fit, does not wobble. I added rubber pad at the carrier "U" area so as to not mar the painted wooden scabbard I had. Saved me making one myself. Looks good too.

Great Display Stand; Definitely Katana Only
This item is perfect for what it is. I noticed that several reviews complained about the stand being hard to assemble, but I had no difficulty. It may seem smaller than expected, but it holds my full length katana just fine. The uprights are designed to hold the saya (sheath) of the katana, so if you are thinking about using to display a different type of sword, I would discourage you from doing so. It is a terrific stand for the rounded katana saya (sheath) but the more western style sword sheaths will not fit in it very well. Basically, if you have one katana that you would like to display or store, this is a great affordable stand for you!

Great product!
I love this product! Such a great price. The wood is a little rough but it’s painted well and simple to put together. I used it for a toy sword and it displays it perfectly. I’ll be buying another stand when I get the other sword.

worth the money
the product was well priced and I suppose you get what you pay for, It is functional, tho not put together very well. it looks nice, somewhat sturdy, but not necessarily a high quality item. Definitely shouldnt be put anywhere it could shake, must be in a level area with no motion. I dont suggest constantly taking the sword on and off it...display away from motion item.
