The mesh is very fine. It worked great to make HO scale locomotive engine screens. Would work for O scale , but not N scale.

Perfect fit
I needed to drill a couple of ventilation holes in a fake rock I bought to cover up my well head. Doing that would let in bugs but these screens were perfect to let in air but not even the smallest bug.Shipping time was a bit long, but the seller made that cleared in the advertisement.
