iScholar Canary Legal Pads, 2-Pack, 5 x 8 Inches, 50 Sheets per Pad (95802)

Bought these because they are of good quality and I like to have them on hand to refill those in my leather portfolios.

I guess I'm being a bit sarcastic in my title. I know I don't have too many expectations when I buy a legal pad other than it must tear cleanly at the top or it's junk. I'm glad to say this one has been no problem as it has exhibited good clean top tears. I've had legal pads that the paper quality was fragile, the tear perfs weak, or the binder at top overhung all of which will wreak a good clean tear. So, when you're buying some things from Amazon that get you free shipping it's a "no-brainer" if you use legal pads to throw a couple of these two-packs in your basket, hey, it's everything you need in a legal pad!

Just note pads.

I could not find the 8.5 X 14 pads locally; so glad Amazon carries them. At a fair price, too.Nothing spectacular nor low quality about these. Simply a smooth surfaced, medium weight paper tablet. Quite useful for my husband's writings. He's written several narratives of his life experiences--for us to enjoy now and especially for his children's heritage.

You'll need a certain mindset to use this paper - write fast, write throwaway...That being said - its inexpensive, and legal size, and has the black top bar.I would pay a LOT to find high quality, bright yellow paper that is truly legal size and ruled and has a BLACK top bar... I'll keep searching...

These are great of keeping trace of you monthly bills. I use them every month to keep track of what is paid and what needs to be paid.

The paper is cheap and thin, and the perforations almost non-existent so it does not tear evenly. It frequently rips part of the top of the page, so if you write anything near the top you will have a big tear across it.

Exactly what I need to have for my office. I prefer yellow paper to white. much nicer on the eyes.

I found it difficult to buy pads of lined paper at local dollar store, so I some packages on line. Paper is paper. I have no complaints.
