So I bought this kit think it would be cheap and in the end would not be a great lure to buy, man was I wrong, it took a huge northern bite like it was nothing and still worked perfect, the paint did get damaged but it's a northern what do you expect, originally bought it for bass, but yesterday proved this lures great for northern as well, I suggest everyone give this a try, if you get a bad set return it and get a new kit I promise you will not be disappointed.

The lure itself looks good, doesn't look premium but at their price that makes sense.The hook tho, it doesn't look lile a high-end. Definitely looks cheaper and I'm sure it will oxide after some uses.I'll probably change them for a better quality ones when possible. But for its price they're good option.I did not like the tail that much, looks like they cut a section, but it's rather cosmetic than functional.I liked that they come in a box, I'll give one to some friends so they can try them as well.I haven't tried myself yet.

First off, you know these are cheap Chinese lures. You’re getting 5 of them for a little more than 1 of the name brand. That said, they have a tendency for the front section to roll sometimes but mostly it stays upright. On my 4th cast, the tail section came apart from the rotating sleeve. The connection is a cheap press fit (not tight) between the two pieces. I superglued it together. I went ahead and put some superglue on the other 4 lures as well. If you don’t mind spending a few minutes with the superglue thing, they’re worth the money. The hooks are stronger and sharper than I expected. The finish on the lures is excellent but since I’ve not had one in a fishes mouth, I can’t say how durable it it. Anyway…most lures are made to catch the fisherman more so than the fish annyway and these look good on my line. 😁

I bought these for our grandson who loves to go bass fishing in some of the ponds near his house. He's enjoyed using them and they have been pretty effective in landing some descent size bass.
