This carrier still seems to fit the airline requirements. What it does is give a squish more width which gives my dog a little more room.

I like the sturdy construction and the nice fleece pad in the bottom. The pad has a zipper on the back so you can wash the cover. I also like the top and side openings, which allowed my cat to explore the carrier and not feel trapped.I would not consider this carrier for in-cabin airline travel, and it is totally unacceptable for baggage hold travel. My cat weighs about 12 lb, what he is middling large and he takes up almost the entire space. Other than quick trips to the vet, I would need to buy a large for him.

We purchased multiple carriers for our fur baby to take his first flight but ultimately decided on this one. It was big enough to add an extra pad at the bottom for comfort. The size was also perfect for sliding under the passenger seat in front of us. This was our biggest concern because we had one connecting flight and the planes were different sizes. We didn’t want to have any issues with being able to slide his carrier under either of the seats. Added bonus… having a top zipper was great because he was able to poke his little head out for behind the ear scratches.

If this is an authentic Sherpa carrier, I’m Beyoncé (I’m not), I’ve owned Sherpa’s before, this is made from some cheap plastic material, is not reinforced ANYWHERE, not even the “floor” so it bends & folds up around my 9 lb. doxie while carrying, VERY disappointed …

Good product. Strong. I use it when I take my cat to the vet. It can easily be used to travel with a pet.
