Let's be honest, if you're expecting a $65 off-brand projector to be cinema quality sharp and bright enough to easily watch in a room with the lights on you're not being realistic in the slightest. So what is this little unit? Well, it's a fantastic "movie night" projector for a gathering of family and friends at an amazing price, but you'll need to make sure you have a very dark room (or it's very dark outside if you're having an outdoor viewing party) and you'll also need to not be a pixel snob, walking up to the screen and pointing out "eww, I can see the pixels". Yeah, you can see the pixels on ANYTHING if you get close enough.Okay, so the description says 1080p right? Yeah, well that means it can PLAY 1080p content from a microSD card or USB drive, it does NOT mean that the internal LCD is 1920x1080 pixels in resolution. Does that mean that it's not worth the price? Absolutely it is. I dare you to try to find a projector with an ACTUAL 1080p LCD for less than $300 (at the very low end). What it means is that you'll need to chill out and accept that your little $65 projector is not going to be as sharp as the ones at the movie theater. Did you really think it would be??I don't know about you but I always look forward to getting movies on bluray after I've seen them in the theater because even the theater ones (which costs TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars) are nowhere near as sharp as a bluray on a decent LED television, but you know what makes it cool? watching it on a HUGE screen! So if you pick this little thing up you can also grab a $20 projector screen here on Amazon and have your very own home cinema for well under a hundred bucks. This thing is easy to use, reliable, sharp (for the resolution it's capable of), and plenty bright enough in a dark room.PROS:- cheap- long life LED bulb prevents having to purchase super expensive halogen bulbs- tiny and easy to carry- has a tripod 1/4" thread on the bottom for easy mounting- has microSD, USB, VGA, HDMI, etc...- USB will power a Chromecast, so you can just plug into USB and HDMI and have a streaming home cinema- remote works well- goes from power on to ready in well under 10 seconds flatCONS:- you won't be watching it in a bright room, the darker the better- 800x480 resolution (just don't be a pixel snob)- manual is in chinglish and very sparse (but use your brain and figure it out, it's easy)

To be so small this projector is really nice. The picture quality is very clear to my surprise. Setup was quick and easy—I had it connected and running within minutes. I also like how convenient it is to move from room to room. The built-in speaker isn't so bad but I love that I can connect it to my own sound system when I want a fuller experience; especially when it comes to gaming. For the price and convenience I love it. I would definitely recommend!

This is a nice compact unit but a little dim in the lumens so you really need a dark room and need to be pretty close to the screen to get a good picture. Because it is so compact, it doesn’t have some of the adjustment features the bigger units have.I took away stars because of the customer service. In the literature they promise 24 hour turnaround on questions and issues, but I have been unable to get a response after three separate emails spread out over two weeks. So despite their flowery promises, they just ignore questions. My communication was for a way to replace a small broken plastic part and they just never responded. Basically the are leading me to believe that if a fifty cent part breakes, the unit is a throwaway. That is an issue, even at these low prices.UPDATE August, 2025AuKing customer service reached out to me after I posted my review. I discussed their non-response to previous emails regarding replacement parts. While they weren't too enthusiastic about my taking the projector apart to install parts, feeling it was too complicated inside (it was a very touchy experience), they agreed to supply the broken little part, and in a week or so, it arrived, with a spare to boot!I installed the replacement part and reassembled the projector, and it worked perfectly. While I wouldn't recommend tearing into these things to do repairs, mine was a fairly simple fix, the part was easy to reach and I was able to figure out how to do the installation without much fuss.I am revising my rating to four stars, because once in contact, their service people were very attentive to my needs and we got the thing done.

EXCELLENT projector for the money !!! I loved this product so much that I not only bought one but this is the second one that I have purchased. The picture quality is excellent. I've been downsizing and getting rid of bulky furniture and making my life simpler especially when it comes to moves and this product is an excellent addition to that lifestyle. I've had the first one for quite some time and it's still going strong and provides an excellent picture. I purchased an old style projector screen like they used to have in school to project the picture on and I couldn't be more happy. This product is excellent for the bedroom or media room.

Perfect size! Amazing clear quality! A family member has this projector and we loved it so we had to get our own. Super easy and fast set up!! Color is great as we projected it to the side of our house and works great! We put a Roku stick in ours and now we have everything! I don't believe this one has Bluetooth but we didn't need that option.

It worked fine for less than 2 years. When it worked it was fine - exactly fine.
